Very good would definitely stay again
Pros:

Modern, clean, happy, friend and helpful staff

Cons:

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable (expected I suppose) booked as a 4 but only enough cups for 2

Ready to book again.
Pros:

Breakfast was above expectations. Options for cold continental or hot english. Had both, fully enjoyable and would recommend to family and friends.

Great Vibe
Pros:

Very trendy with a chilled vibe. Breakfast was excellent and lots of extra touches like a free drink and tea and coffee available.

Nice Place
Pros:

Check-in was fine
Room was clean and comfortable, with all the required mod cons displayed and stored in a rather quirky way on the walls.
Bathroom was more than adequate with complimentary products.
Plenty of options for food and drink in the bar / restaurant, but the layout was such that you had to sit very near a potentially very noisy kids play area.
Plenty of options to relax or play games in the games area above reception.
Breakfast offered a decent selection of cereals, pastries, breads, and hot options - although the hot gluten free options which seemed to be the only hot offered, had a strange taste.
A nice few pubs and restaurants within walking distance
10 mins or so stroll along the canal to the city centre

Cons:

We had twin beds that had single duvets in double duvet covers - so a big flap of bed cover to contend with !!
On site parking was chargeable - £10 for 24 hours, but the review we read said it was only £6. It should really be free as it on their site.
The cooked breakfast consisted of mostly Gluten Free products, which had a strange taste to them.
As part of our booking we were offered a 'free cocktail'. Great you'd think, but upon producing our voucher, we were offered alcoholic or non-alcoholic options of what was basically lemon squash, so very disappointing (but a nice gesture all the same).

Smelly and noisy
Pros:

Free coffee, helpful staff, room clean and decent size

Cons:

Noxious, inescapable sewage smell (from nearby canal maybe). Room directly above Hi-NRG gym workout session that started a long time before I wanted to get up, with fast disco music and lots of shouting: "come on ladies, feel the burn" etc. The opposite of the restful break I thought I'd get at a modern hotel facility
