Small and uncomfortable
Pros:

Great location and very quiet. Refreshments always available for free. Nice staff.

Cons:

Nowhere to put luggage even in an upgraded room. The shower is not ideal for luggage storage. Beds and pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable. I hope the staining on the bedroom and toilet floor was just water!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel in a strategic position
Pros:

Very nice hotel , our room were enough spacious and well organised with comfortable beds. Location is great to move around Kyoto. It was ideal for a longer stay in Kyoto.

Cons:

Some members of the staff were rather cold and not so open to assist us, while others were more helpful.

Nicht wie erwartet.
Cons:

Die Zimmer wurden nicht jeden Tag gereinigt. Der Teppichboden hat dazu geführt dass alles sehr staubig war. Die zimmergrösse war für ein Zweibettzimmer viel zu klein - wir konnten nicht mal unsere Koffer aufmachen.
