Bed and sleep was good but that’s all I’m afraid
Pros:

The room was good with a good shower

Cons:

The overall ambiance was generally scruffy. The staff were pleasant enough but the hotel needs a lot of TLC. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel because bit looked so bad and breakfast confirmed it I’m sad to say - it was aweful.

Nice place but very expensive for what you get. Needs some repairs.

Disappointing.
Pros:

The location was very handy. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The receptionist was more interested in her screen than welcoming me upon arrival. It was 2130 and I was tired and keen to check in, but she waited until she had finished what she was doing before looking up. Poor start to the stay. The carpet was grubby. The sash window was held open by a stone. The paint work in the room was chipped and shabby and made the room feel unclean (which I don't think it was). The toilet seat was shabby and the laminate was coming away from the wood.

quirky old hotel...
Pros:

Staff were very nice and accomodating, nice location.. rooms were nicely decorated although a bit dated and tired in some areas of hotel.. bedding..bed and bath towels were very clean ..all nicely hoovered and cleaned room.

Cons:

Lot of the bathroom needed t.l.c. ..sealing around bath was black..and the bath was quite yellow stained. The loos in reception area were dirty and tired..

Boendet lever inte upp till förväntningarna på ett välfungerande in i förhållande till priset.
Pros:

Byggnaden är gammal och charmig. Den ligger bra till om man vill se Dunrobin castle eller vandra i bergen intill.

Cons:

Det fanns ohyra på ett av de två rummen (massor av silverfisk) och sviktande golv som gjorde att vi misstänkte röta. Det var väldigt rörigt med betalningen och bokningen innan de kom fram till det vi hade papper på: att vi betalat i förväg och hade bokat två rum. Första frukosten var gräslig med iskallt te och kaffe (med sump).

The staff is very friendly and efficient; except for stains in the bedroom carpet, the hotel was very clean.
Pros:

Friendly staff, restaurant on site, good breakfast, parking.

Cons:

The bedroom furniture needs updating, the bathroom needed more hanging options, the carpet was stained. Bedroom doors barely closed; one of the bedrooms had a loose latch, the other had barely 2 mm of latch bolt. I realized late into the night that there was no spare toilet paper, and I barely made it until the morning.
