Location
It was comfortable and convenient to the national park
Had a little bit of trouble checking in due to booking through a 3rd party app. At first they could t find it, then they didn’t want to check me in bc they didn’t read my ID correctly and said my name didn’t match (it did) so it was a little scary at first thinking we drove out of state and weren’t going to have a room once we got there. But they were apologetic and got us checked in after showing them the reservation on the Booking app and showing where my information was on my TN ID.
Close to Mammoth Cave.
The stains on bedding. The pool was very chemically and cloudy. Our daughter got to swim a bit the first night, but not the next as the pool was closed due to a toddler leaving a turd behind. Not the hotel or staff fault but still super disappointing for a 7 year old. The staff member offered a drink or candy of choosing for the inconvenience.
The staff was super helpful and kind! They went above and beyond.
Our bathroom door was broken and we couldn’t close it. I also didn’t like that Fox News was playing during breakfast. I don’t prefer to have the news on while I eat.
We had an early tour at Mammoth Cave national park and stayed at this Hampton Inn. Off the highway, very quiet, wide hallways, clean room. Front desk attendant was very helpful when we arrived.
Three main issues: A) the A/C sounded like a tractor. Made it difficult to get a restful sleep. B) the breakfast service can be improved - one morning the bagels felt like they had been left out for days - hard and dry. Three total and every single one was hard as a rock. I asked one of the breakfast attendants for fresh plain bagels and she brought seasoned "everything" bagels. I asked again for plain bagels and she told me they didn't have any. Not even 5 minutes later I saw another attendant refilling the bagel drawer with fresh plain bagels. And C) apparently there is no safe space from smokers. On the day we left, one of the workers was smoking right by the main entrance and cigarette smoke wafting all through the area.
The bathroom was amazing
It was real close to dinosaur world an all the caves
Good position for caves

The staff were all so friendly! The evening desk attendant was extremely helpful!
Wonderful and delightful experience staying near Mammoth Cave National Park. Very close to the main entrance as well as the visitor center. Right off the interstate and convenient off ramp right to the hotel. Free breakfast and coffee and friendly people.
A/C inop upon arrival. Manager Refused to allow a room transfer or a checkout cancellation when immediately notified that room unsatisfactory!
The front desk guy who checked us in was super friendly and helpful, his name was Jeffery.
When we walked in there was dirt on the floor like it wasn’t vacuumed, the floor between the beds was wet, and the tile was sticky.
