Perfect night!
Pros:

Shower was great! Check in easy, parking was great, breakfast was top notch, central location, can’t really fault it!

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind modern und schön!

Cons:

Check-in! Schön alles dem Gast überlassen. Kein guter Service. Meine Rechnung kam nicht automatisch, wie versprochen und angekündigt. 5 mal nachgefragt und erst bekommen als ich DREI Tage später nochmal vor Ort war. Schönes Hotel aber künftig ohne mich!!!

Pros:

Vor allem das Frühstücksbuffet mit der lieben Melanie hat uns umgehauen. Sie war sehr zuvorkommend, immer super gelaunt und hat unsere Anliegen bestens gelöst.

Einmal und nicht wieder.
Pros:

Fast nichts und sicherlich nicht das Zimmer. Modern ist ja gut…..aber…..

Cons:

Für eine Nacht OK, aber das Personal macht einen auf Hipp und hat nichts drauf

A comfortable stay, close to supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.
Pros:

It was neat and. Lean. The staff were friendly. We rented bikes from the hotel - they were a little pricey.

Cons:

The bathroom was practically in the room. There was also no telephone in the room to ring reception.

Without our consent we were charged 450 euros extra for a room that we never booked and never did see anything of. That unfortunately ruined our impression of this otherwise good hotel. New guests should watch out and check their accounts.

Convenient location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Ruby Ella Hotel was a great place for us to base our stay in Cologne.
While it's around 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral [but it's flat, and we did it most days] it's very central to most locations with a large upmarket supermarket right next door, and easy walking access to nearby bars, beer houses, restaurants, and sights. It was actually nice to be out of the hustle & bustle of the Cathedral area hotels.
The room was clean, sufficiently sized, and right in line with what we expected when booking.

Cons:

Please, please, put in mini-fridges in the rooms.

The "galley" on some levels (with instant coffee) was, less than impressive. It would have been great if there were more options (hot chocolate for us who don't drink coffee, fresh milk, perhaps a Nespresso machine rather than instant coffee). But not the end of the world - we just went elsewhere!
