The location of this hotel is great with easy access to the tube and busses, plus lots of walkable sites and amenities. The decor and accommodations are fun and elegant at the same time. The price is a good value. Walter, the bar manager, is a delight. Not only did he ask if he could personalize a drink for me but he was interesting to talk with.
We had such an amazing stay at Canopy London City! It was my girlfriend’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the whole experience special. They decorated the room for us which was such a lovely surprise and really made her feel celebrated.
The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and had such a great atmosphere, but it was the little touches and the kindness of the staff that made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for making the birthday trip so special — we’ll definitely be coming back!
The location offers excellent connectivity to both the Underground and the bus network, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The hotel itself is stylish and sophisticated, with a beautiful lounge area enhanced by a live DJ, creating a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The team at reception and in the lounge were warm, attentive, and highly professional. Although I unfortunately do not recall the names of the gentlemen at both the Welcome desk and the lounge/ dining area, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for such a kind and memorable reception.
A special mention goes to Walter and the restaurant team. Walter’s friendly, cheerful, and engaging service truly stood out—he made us laugh and feel genuinely welcome. His hospitality added a personal touch that we greatly appreciated.

Kein Frühstück; Lage für meine Zwecke OK, da U-Bahn-Station Aldgate sehr nahe beim Hotel lag (nur 150 m entfernt). Toller Service mit Leihgabe von engl. Adapter-Stecker und sehr freundlicher Koffer-Service mit guten Tipps für die Rückreise zum Flughafen (Streik bei TfL). Tolle Dusche mit bequemem Zugang, Türe gegen rausspritzen und tolle Kombi von Regendusche und Duschkopf. Sehr klare und einfache Bedienung, guter Wasserdruck.
Bett war für meine Zwecke zu weich; bevorzuge kleinere Einzeldecke statt so riesige Bettdecke.
