When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for a maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance- unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in our Sora Sky Bar.

There are limited onsite parking spaces available at the Hotel for £ 27.50 per night per car. Car parking must be booked in advance of your stay. Alternatively, there is an NCP car park on Tanner Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel reception. Prices are approximately £40.00 for 24 hours.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply to adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu is also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.

The breakfast was rich. The location of the hotel is very good. It is easy to visit all spots of the old town by walking. By the hotel is the city wall and the fantastic view of the Minster.
Nice room and spacious and close to station
Not able to open a window and strength of ventilation varied throughout my time some days air conditioning was powerful other days the room felt suffocating

Chez Mal served great good and the staff were lovely and really helpful. Lovely experience.
Breakfast was not great, we both ordered the full breakfast and it arrived really quickly and appeared to have been cooked and left under a hot plate. Asked for runny eggs but they came hard and had to be made again. Breakfast staff not very welcoming and on both morning, started clearing away and clearing our table before breakfast had finished. We were still drinking coffee and the sugar and milk cleared away before we had finished. It felt like we were being rushed and having stayed at other Malmaison hotels, felt this was not a great experience.

Car parking - I appreciate that there are limited spaces at the hotel but were advised to use the nearby NCP ……. at a cost of £40 per 24 hours. Surely the hotel could negotiate a better deal than this with NC P like many other hotels seem to be able to do?

Great location and good roof top bar
The room was very dark with inadequate lighting. Shaving was a challenge as there was no mirror over the sink. The design of the room was poor, the Shower door opened onto anyone using the sink. The toilet when opened obstructed the wardrobe. There were no face cloths provided. The black out curtains were good but did not cover all the windows so the dawn light woke us up.
