Good location
The rooms have a lot of mosquitoes and hotel staff not helpful once notified
Moses was very helpful. The food was good. No boda boda noise
Subjected us to bathing cold water for 2 days. Female employees very unprofessional. Mixed up bills after checking out started texting us despite us going to them twice to settle our bill. No communication between restaurant staff and hotel staff.Absolutely unacceptable.
Clean and good restaurant and transport
Tend to be pricy
Good morning.
I recently stayed at onomo I normally stay there for long periods. Your beds are really comfortable.
But there is always something missing.
The last time I stayed i asked for permission to buy some meat and freeze it. They did not freeze it. They had to reimburse me.
Because I lost all my savouries I brought with me as well.
I invited my friends to have lunch with me at onomo about 8 of us and there was nothing on the menu. We ended up going to hickory for lunch. I was so embarrassed because I raved about how beautiful the food was. Only to have nothing on the menu.
Nina the gm was amazing. I told her that I was a hospitality trainer and I pointed out all her areas that needed concentrating. She also upgraded me to a lovely suite that also needed attention. Air-conditioning ducts were filthy. They needed cleaning. My bathroom had black mould in it. Curtains needed washing.
This time I had another long stay. By now everyone now knows I am a hospital trainer they are so unfriendly with me.
Housekeeping did not clean my room properly at all. No flat sheets on the beds. By 13h00 they were not done. I would go out to my office during the day when I returned my room is not cleaned. Now I must sit down stairs while they clean my room. Haphazardly.
Reception staff are so unfriendly. I knew this stems from me reporting them. Now they all know I'm a trainer and they are sulky and miserable.
I have a tea station in my bedroom. I took my tea downstairs to have it. The restaurant staff then run to me to say i must pay for it. I said I'm not. Im staying in this hotel. I have a tea station in my room. I brought my tea down and t told you that I am going to have my tea downstairs.
The menu says that a chicken burger has a chicken thigh. I get a very cold dehydrated chicken fillet. I send it back. Then they explain that they dont have thighs. Why not say that from the get go.
I have another long stay coming up on Friday. 3 weeks. Im bringing 2 American friends with also long stays. Now i must deal with more sulky faces and unprofessionalism from the onomo team. I pay to stay at onomo it's not free please upgrade your services.
Great hotel, helpful staff (I had an issue with the sink on arrival, which was fixed within hours), and a good variety of breakfast options.
The location, the menu, the stuff, the lobby .
It’s World Cup season, and the TVs are so small, the corridors are a bit dark.
