Clean and good location.
Nothing
Hands down, one of the best accommodations ever. The hotel has everything you need for a great stay. The staff is friendly, the whole place was very clean and they seemed to know what you need before you even know and they have it there! Highly recommend this hotel
I really liked the hotel overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location was convenient. The lady who checked me in on my first day was very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it for another night. Shari also helped me with the extension by text and handled everything quickly and smoothly. Up until my interaction with Monica at the front desk, I had a very positive experience here
Unfortunately, one interaction with a front desk employee, Monica, completely changed my impression of this hotel.
The morning after extending my stay, I went to the front desk simply to get a new parking permit. Monica was cold, dismissive, and condescending from the beginning. After she reissued my room key, I returned to my car and received an alert for a new $149.28 pending authorization from the hotel. At that time, I already had a $174.50 authorization for my additional night and an earlier $189.28 authorization that had not yet been released, so I went back inside to ask what was happening.
I showed Monica the transaction on my phone, which clearly displayed the hotel’s name, but she seemed unwilling to look at it and repeatedly said she could not see it in her system. I understood that it might only be a temporary authorization, so I simply asked whether it would be released. She said she did not know and made little effort to explain.
What bothered me most was not the pending authorization itself, but the way I was treated for asking a reasonable question. Her facial expressions and demeanor made me feel as though my questions were stupid and not worth explaining. She was visibly impatient and dismissive. I also noticed a striking difference between the way she treated me and the warm, smiling way she interacted with white guests, which made me feel very uncomfortable and differently treated.
She also seemed reluctant when I asked her to write down her name. About ten minutes after I left, I received two calls from the hotel while I was driving and could not answer.
The temporary authorizations later began correcting themselves, including the earlier $189.28 being released. My complaint is not that I was ultimately overcharged. It is about how I was treated when I reasonably asked for help. This was especially disappointing because the rest of my stay had been so positive that I had chosen to extend it for another night.
The property was clean, comfy beds, great breakfast and close to restaurants, groceries and a quick ride to the beach.
Everything was great.
The staff was awesome. Super friendly. Breakfast was nice also. Beds were comfy
Bathroom showers need some upgraded. You could see some rust and wear and tear
Front desk staff was nice/friendly. Room was very spacious. Location was great, easy access to Pensacola beach without being in the middle of so many people. Just a short drive.
Bathroom could have been a bit more cleaner. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not spotless either. I don't care for luxury, but cleanness definitely a point that counts for me. Also, I didn't understand having to pay for parking, even if just $5/night. It's their own property and right next to a bit parking for restaurants and grocery store, so it's not that space was limited. It just didn't make sense.
