The location is fairly convenient
Upon my arrival I was allocated room which was a junior suite and the hot water was not working. After a long flight and a late night that is the last thing that one needs. It also had an unpleasant odour. Additionally, there was no soap in the dispenser. Despite having being told that the property was checked prior to my arrival, it would have been obvious but those two factors exist existed .For its age, the property is not ageing well and having had the benefit of staying there for quite some time. I get the impression that its cleanliness has gone downhill.

The parking cost and process.
Obviously you’re paying a premium for the location and overall the building presented really nicely. That said I found the room quite disappointing for the price point. The bathroom was beautiful though. I just couldn’t justify the price when comparing it to other options around the city.
The TV remote was also driving me nuts and for what I paid I honestly expected a lot more from the room. Also no free toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom, small thing i know but i’ve stayed in places quarter the cost that include this
Great location in city, close to bars and restaurants and room felt
Very luxurious and more expensive than what it was. Check in was easy too with great reception staff.
Room service missed the mark. I had asked for some bathroom
Products to be sent to room and they didn’t deliver and I had to follow up twice. This was on my first night where
I was tired from travel and had wanted a bath. It was reason I had paid extra - to have the room with bath. Disappointed -
as I would have expected a higher standard for a luxury hotel.
The restaurant service is very slow

The shower head squealed a bit in the morning wasn’t sure why
