Location and clean

Cons:

Front desk seemed like they hated their lives especially this younger tan man with cool hair. He was a downer and shouldn’t welcoming guests. definitely was sad to see and lowered my experience. That being said the night shift counter guy was awesome and really helpful

Solid choice in downtown Portland
Pros:

Excellent location, close to plenty of restaurants and culture. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and clean. There are 2 design elements that caused me to not rate 5 stars. There was no shelving or drawers for clothes, only hooks. The shower was weak and trickles. Otherwise, a well run hotel.

Great vibes and a fun stay—would definitely consider coming back.
Pros:

What we liked about the property was its convenient downtown Portland location. The overall vibe was great, and the customer service was excellent.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit smaller than what we’re used to. We had called in the morning to request a late checkout, but were told there were no spots available. It had been offered at check-in at no charge—and we noticed it being offered to other guests as well—so it was a bit confusing when it wasn’t available later. Not a big issue overall, just something to consider if late checkout availability is limited.

No one at the cafe acknowledged me at first. Unable to use a different credit card for payment and deposit. Room was tiny. Soundproofing poor

Great vibes, great people
Pros:

Great location, excellent atmosphere, clean rooms and great value. Duncan was incredible and gave us great recommendations for where to eat and what spots to visit. Samantha and Erron were friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely visit again while in Portland

Pros:

Front desk employee was very nice and accommodating. Understood my disappointment in the property and helped to rectify the situation easily.

Cons:

Size of the rooms was way too small. bunk beds are a definite no. No coffee maker in the room. Hallways were so dark. Felt like I was in a brothel.
