Valley Hotel Homewood Birmingham - Curio Collection By Hilton

I traveled with my mom and my aunt who are both in their early 70s and Jean at the valet desk and every other employee honestly was overly gracious and helpful with us. It was perfect just their attitude alone is a reason that will always be my first choice in Birmingham.

Everything was great. Very nice facility. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent staff.

This is a very overpriced hotel and not very clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, however $350++ per night for a hotel room. (IN Alabama!!?!) is a bit extreme. I would have expected so much more based on the prices. I have stayed at dozens of 5star , luxury hotels in my 35 years of international travel…..and this hotel does not hold a candle to any of them. Paper and plastic cups in the rooms!!!!!, Hair on the bed linens!!, stains on carpet, dusty bathroom. Sorry, this is not a luxury Hilton accommodation.

My daughter got married this April in Homewood, Al. We stayed at the Valley Hotel and had a room block for guests. We hosted a Welcome Dinner at the Terrace Bar/Ballroom on the night before. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great.
We needed assistance from the Bellman Desk 4 out of the 5 days that we were there. Gene and TJ were the Best! They always had a smile on their face and were very helpful.
The Valley Hotel has lovely accommodations, staff, and location.

Very clean and great service all weekend. It was a short trip but we were treated with the most of care. KJ really stood out and made our experience top notch from the moment we arrived all the way through our departure. The location is great surrounded by boutiques and restaurants and just a few minutes from the zoo, parks and botanical gardens as well as anything you might want to do in Birmingham. Highly recommend!

It was amazing. Kj/Kacen was AMAZING at valet. Left the car nicer than before. No scratches, dents, probably best service I’ve had. And Megan also was very nice at the bistro. Lovely food, nice restaurant. Great rooms and service overall. (Including front desk!)

We had a great stay. It started with Brooke with valet giving us great tips and continued to the front desk, the room and beyond. Great location for anything you want to do. Every encounter with staff was excellent.

The valet Brook gave great suggestions for restaurants within walking distance. We had a lovely time.

Brook did such a fantastic job. She helped with taking my bags up to my room and parking my car. She made sure to make my trip great. I will certainly be back here if she’s still working 10/10 experience.

Nice hotel with very polite parking attendants.
However the parking was vastly overpriced and outsourced to a third party so hotel was not transparent in clarifying charges.
Also my wife left her coat in room and they proceeded to give me a website for their lost and found items. We never recovered it so I assume it was probably stolen. Front desk was totally indifferent and showed no concern in helping us with this matter. We are longtime Hilton Gold Honors members and have never experienced this at a Hilton property anywhere in the world where we have stayed. This hotel needs to vastly improve their standards of service. I am forwarding this review to Hilton CEO also.
