Fantastic hotel - great amenities and great staff. Could just use a little better cleaning of the rooms.

Location and staff

James and Sheena were incredibly friendly. Location couldn’t be better between homewood and mountain view for food and some cool boutique shopping. Room was fine, no complaints. Hotel conference room for a business seminar was clean and well organized. The staff is the highlight of this property. Everyone was genuinely happy and helpful. Will be back. (Thanks James for finding my lost shirt !)

The staff at valley Homewood was exceptional and very attentive to all of my needs as a hotel guest. KJ and Mary Anne in particular did an amazing job!

Dee the valet was fantastic! Extremely helpful and extremely nice!

We had prepaid for valet parking. NO ONE was there. We parked ourselves and asked the person at desk to be sure we weren’t charged for this. he replied, “ I am sure they are just hanging out in break room. I can get one of them”.
The room itself was run down. The grout in shower was gross and someone else’s hair was present. Where tile joined carpet there were multiple cuts onto edges of tile-sharp. Hilton website says breakfast until 10:30, but it closes from 10-11. DEFINITELY not up to Curio standards and a waste of $&

I traveled with my mom and my aunt who are both in their early 70s and Jean at the valet desk and every other employee honestly was overly gracious and helpful with us. It was perfect just their attitude alone is a reason that will always be my first choice in Birmingham.

Everything was great. Very nice facility. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent staff.

Omg one of the best experiences I have had arriving at a Hotel. I was greeted by a lovely lady (Annette) when I parked she help me with my bags all the way to my room felt like VIP status, the staff was amazing too. The rooms are super nice as well . Highly recommended staying here if you are ever in the area.

This is a very overpriced hotel and not very clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, however $350++ per night for a hotel room. (IN Alabama!!?!) is a bit extreme. I would have expected so much more based on the prices. I have stayed at dozens of 5star , luxury hotels in my 35 years of international travel…..and this hotel does not hold a candle to any of them. Paper and plastic cups in the rooms!!!!!, Hair on the bed linens!!, stains on carpet, dusty bathroom. Sorry, this is not a luxury Hilton accommodation.

My daughter got married this April in Homewood, Al. We stayed at the Valley Hotel and had a room block for guests. We hosted a Welcome Dinner at the Terrace Bar/Ballroom on the night before. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great.
We needed assistance from the Bellman Desk 4 out of the 5 days that we were there. Gene and TJ were the Best! They always had a smile on their face and were very helpful.
The Valley Hotel has lovely accommodations, staff, and location.

Very clean and great service all weekend. It was a short trip but we were treated with the most of care. KJ really stood out and made our experience top notch from the moment we arrived all the way through our departure. The location is great surrounded by boutiques and restaurants and just a few minutes from the zoo, parks and botanical gardens as well as anything you might want to do in Birmingham. Highly recommend!

It was amazing. Kj/Kacen was AMAZING at valet. Left the car nicer than before. No scratches, dents, probably best service I’ve had. And Megan also was very nice at the bistro. Lovely food, nice restaurant. Great rooms and service overall. (Including front desk!)
