Hooray for breakfast. Delicious chorizo omelet and the local sausage links were perfection AND even more impressive were the home style breakfast potatoes - out of this world good! Thank you talented chefs Alex and Jesus with new apprentice, you are in good hands. Front end staff is also lovely and delightful, five stars today!

Exelente location...good burritos

The location was amazing. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The rooms are super clean, and for this price, the value cannot be beat. There’s no real noise level at all. The service that the staff and Juan and Jonathan gave was amazing with helping me park my oversize vehicle and Eddie at the front counter. Nice, courteous, and very professional. But the food at the El Mezquite Grill and taqueria excellent the chef Anthony wow!! what an Artist he is with the food it’s plated so beautifully. I haven’t tasted food so delicious here in Tucson like they serve in the El Mezquite. And the lady’s that care for you (waitresses) we love seen Kalette every year here at the hotel she has become a friend and she always makes our mornings like we are at home. Definitely recommend coming here.

Everything clean and nice

We had a wonderful experience at the DoubleTree Downtown Convention Center in Tucson. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Kafette, our server, for providing outstanding service and making us feel welcome. We also appreciate Anthony (cook) for preparing such a great meal. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

Location and property was great!

I had a great experience at the Doubletree. I was there for breakfast, and my server, Kafette, really made sure my dietary needs were met and she didn’t work a smile. My meal was delicious and the service was fast. The best part was how friendly and competent Kafette was!
I was also very happy with another server. I can't remember her name, but she had beautiful dreadlocks and was very friendly. She took care of us at The Double Tree on Reid park during a convention and also again downtown. Both ladies are great servers and representatives of the doubletree brand.
The manager there also took time to talk to us. He was very friendly and is actually from our hometown, though we didn’t know him.
My experience at The Double Tree downtown makes me sure that I'll stay there next time I'm in Tucson.

Love the location!

We came to Tucson for a speaking engagement and this was where we stayed. The room was large with a kingsized bed, chairs to relax on and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and upgraded. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and was very clean. There was a refrigerator in the room and bottles of water. The parking and check-in was easy and we enjoyed our stay. We decided to go down to the restaurant and order breakfast and the gal told me that she would call when it was ready. I got an omelet to share with my husband with fresh fruit and toast. Perfect.

Other than small inconviences, paying for parking over night when its basically the only place to park 24 dollars over night, microwave but only downstairs, with an only 3ft 8in at the deepest pool. The parking price is ridiculous for not using valet. Paying it per day for a place im staying at is a first for me and idc how wide spread the pracrice is. On a good note, The rooms were very pretty and well maintained. The highlight in the morning was the breakfast we got and the service from kefette. Not only was she extremely pleasant, but she was very knowledgeable. The term "wanting for nothing" applies to her as my glasses were continuously full and her recommendation for additional sauces was well recommended and appreciated. As well as her knowledge of the area and local tourist attractions, she was a highlight among the service that i've received here. Even with the amenities being a little less than expected, the service and food more than made up for it. If I were to come back, it wouldn't be for the amenities, it would be due to the awesome service.

Exceptional service from Violet. She helped make our drinks, showed us around, and gave great local recommendations. When the Starbucks bar was unstaffed, she jumped in without hesitation. She didn’t have to do any of it, but she made us feel like we were the priority.
