Clean hotel, nice breakfast, great beds.
Pros:

Very nice hotel, clean, very friendly staff, great service. Great breakfast, EV chargers for overnight charging. Rooms are airconditioned and cool.

Cons:

There are limited parking spots, we had se luck since we had a EV that needed a charge though.

Great stopover from Dover ferry.
Pros:

These new‑style Hampton Inns are, in my view, the best value-for-money and best‑designed mid‑range hotels in Europe. We previously stayed in an identical property at Lyon Airport — same room layout, same price band — and both stays were the best value for money en-route stopovers of our 21‑night road trip. They absolutely floor the competition in terms of comfort, layout and design: clever Ikea‑style use of limited space, superb super‑king beds, and a genuinely attractive restaurant and bar area. Breakfast was top‑notch.

We also appreciated having a few local amenities close by, including the Curious Brewery, which allowed a pleasant little two‑pint wander. Our late arrival meant meal options had already closed, but that was simply down to timing rather than the hotel.

Cons:

Car parking was fully booked, so we had to use a council car park a couple of hundred metres away. It looked safe, had CCTV, caused no issues, and was free overnight until 8:00am on Saturday — but on‑site parking would, of course, have been preferable.
