Very central location
Room was smelly and suffocating.
While in the room, one can clearly feel and hear lift going up and down, it is a bit disturbing.
Passage going down to parking is so narrow that you almost scratch the sides of car.
Location of hotel is central, but you can see vagrants going around all the time near property.
I love the fact that it is central its easily accessible and you can go to landmarks easily,camps bay waterfront,sea point easily, the area is good.
The hotel had terrible signal the whole 2days i was there ,the Wifi not stable at all kept on getting missed calls, I was in the 6th floor but struggling with network,the staff had an excuse about their technical team working on the issuethe whole 2days couldn't watch TV or connect to Netflix which is common to any establishment these days,I mean its pure basics
Also towels needs to be changed those are old ,they lost their comfort, they've seen better days ,please donate them to charity they are not in the standard of a 4 star hotel at all.

Restaurant staff was friendly
Room was far below par for a 4 star establishment. 2 windows with a flaking picture of Table Mountain stuck to it to obsure the dark, smelly and dirty alley outside. Wash basin dirty and cracked. No plugs by the bed. No a/c. No safe and NO HOT WATER!!
The room made feel like I was still at my home everything was around me.

The drain pipes that runs in the wall were making sound the whole night. Couldn't get a good night's rest. Complained about it to the staff also

Parking. The Bayside are too small, even their entrance. They also have limited parking, so u struggle even though u paid for parking
The restaurant personal were professional.
To enter the parking area, you are required to move backwards and forwards to accommodate other vehicles in an extremely limited space. I if a hotel makes it a huge effort to park and check in, it is an indication of a low score on hospitality and appreciation for the customer.
The parking places are too small for a SUV. I had to park over the lines, just like the other SUVs.
The windows are terrible when closed and even worse opened. That was not stated at the time of booking.
I never had to stay in room that could have been described as a storeroom.
The toilet seat was too small for the toilet.
The food options were limited and the spareribs were possibly the worst ribs I ever had.

Easy access to town and public transportation.
When we arrived firstly they could not find out booking. We had to wait about 30 to 45min for them to find out booking. We got to our room there was only 2 coffee saches. And the TV was not working I called the reception to tell them the TV was not working no one pitched so we had to use our laptop with their WIFi to watch something and their internet was slow loosing connection the whole time.
We had the 2 coffee sachets they gave in the room and when I called for more coffee no one can to deliver I even called the next more 3 times if they could bring some coffee no one came.
It was not pleasant stay their service is really bad after they were taken over by neighbour good group.
Their service become very poor and lake the effort for their guests.
