I left this hotel feeling cheated and disappointed. One of the main reasons we chose a holiday in the hills was to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities, but almost none of the advertised facilities were available. The steam room, sauna, salon, and even the bar were closed due to ongoing construction, yet this was never communicated to us before our stay. Had we known, we would have made a different booking. As paying guests, we expected access to these services and instead had little to do when we were not out sightseeing.
The overall experience was further let down by average food quality, with no non-vegetarian options available at breakfast. Room service was extremely slow and, on some occasions, did not respond at all. Surprisingly, there was also no in-room phone to contact reception or housekeeping, making it difficult to get assistance when needed.
The lack of transparency regarding unavailable facilities, combined with poor service standards, made this stay feel poor value for money. I would not recommend this property unless the management is upfront about facility closures and significantly improves its guest services.
The property is breathtaking. The location is to die for. Unforgettable views and crisp mountain air resets your nervous system.

This is NOT a hotel
The property ( The Luxury Apartments ) are glorified Airbnb’s being managed by The Manor. This is not clearly stated anywhere & was only mentioned to us at the time of check in.
These rooms do NOT have Air Conditioning either. Fortunately you really don’t need them but the lack of information on the same is questionable.
This property does NOT have telephones in their rooms to connect with Housekeeping etc. You are provided individual numbers for the same and it is a pain to get in touch with the staff as they don’t generally pick up or take ages to respond back. The Reception takes the cake for this in our experience.
For example, we had wanted to book activities for our stay and we were provided a number for the person in charge. We tried contacting them for around 2hours ( no jokes ) and no response was forthcoming. Eventually, we were forced to go to the reception which is a 10-15min walk from the room to understand the situation. Once there, we were told the activity manager is not available at the property and we will be unable to book any at that time. At the same time, the General Manager of the property walked in to the reception and asked us if we could wait a few minutes until he can resolve the matter. It took another 10mins before we could get a short game of Pickleball in. Other activities were then not available as it was 6pm by then.
The property upkeep is a joke. The curtains / blinds in our room were missing hooks for the mechanism to work properly. This meant that we were constantly looking at lop sided blinds throughout our stay. It also took them two whole days to get the team to fix whatever they could manage ( which was nothing actually ) This was also true for the internet which did not work and was unable to be fixed.
The management is breaking apart too.

The club has all the facilities you may need to enjoy your time, but everything is offered at an additional cost.
Dust all around due to construction of new buildings, road repairs, interiors being done on adjoining flats. You don't feel and smell the clean air you may want on a hill station. The other issue is the slow service due to peak season. The staff was non responsive before check-in and after check-in they took 2 hours to deliver food.

The Overall Infrastructure is quite good. The Apartments are nicely built
Maintenance is an issue, Monor needs to improve their checklist and have staff who understands maintenance better.
I was in a 3 BHK apartment with friends. The fridge was not working from Day 1 and it could not be fixed in 3 days I stayed.
Similarly, few basic things like an Iron or a Hair Dryer is not available as default and is on call, It was not available on Day 1 and the staff did not follow up to get it in the subsequent days.
These are small points and I hope the Manor management will take a note, you have a great property and with a little more standardization of service and better trained staff you can make the overall guest experience better
Location is peaceful, far from hustle bustle of Shimla. Food is nice, property is well maintained and staff is quite courteous.
Distance between restaurant and apartments, it is doable with shuttle but still inconvenient. Also clubhouse charges for literally everything, they have their reasons but still you are charging a decent amount for stay you should give amenities like access to swimming pool for free.
The location is amazing, the apartment size is huge and it is a very well-maintained property. The staff is lovely, and the food is great. It was the best experience staying there.

We booked the Manor Luxury apartments for our first road trip in India. After hours of driving on scenic, broad, then narrow and winding roads, we arrived at the apartment in time for the most beautiful sunset over the mountains😍😍
Check in: 💯super easy and the staff ensured we were set up in the apartment before coming over to collect our check in documents. I really liked this coz I had a chance to settle the kids, take in the sunset, then do paperwork.
Apartment: 💯clean, well maintained, well furnished and complimentary coffee, lemonade and fruits. The views are to die for!
Meals: 💯 delicious and the restaurant was lovely with lots of fairy lights in the garden... it was abit cold for my team so we dined in the apartment the other nights. Convenient ordering in whatsapp and meal preferences were considered. Meals were tasty too! The chocolate brownie with Ice cream is sinfully sweet!
Heated pool! 💯perfectly heated for the cold weather... one must book a slot and charges are 500rupees per hour for adults. Kids swam for free as long as an adult was there. Looved it! Private and fun!The club house where the pool is located had a few more activities, gym, pool, table tennis. We did not try any of them due to time constraints.
Nature hike: We loved hiking up the hills and walking through the pine trees... we did 4km which was well handled by our kids ages 5 and 7.
We loved our stay and highly recommend Manor Luxury apartments!
