Enthusiastic & Bold and Beautiful!
Pros:

We recently hosted an event at Tiger and Peacock inside The Memphian Hotel and also stayed overnight—and it was an incredible experience from start to finish!
The entire team was exceptionally informative, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Our event was so much fun, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make everything seamless.
The hotel itself is stunning—the decor is unique, stylish, and beautifully done. It really adds to the overall experience and atmosphere.
I highly recommend visiting The Memphian, and you definitely shouldn’t miss Tiger and Peacock—you will NOT be disappointed!
A special thank you to the amazing team, especially Cindy Addison and Evan Potts, for making our experience so memorable!

Love this place. Thank you Evan and Derika
Pros:

Here's the deal. I love this place, while I have never stayed in the hotel, personally. I always have family stay here, put my remote staff here when in town, and my wife and I dine at Complicated Pilgrim almost weekly. Always dinner. Sometimes, multiple times weekly. Look, its not a problem, its admiration.

I love hosting business breakfast meetings there, and the pastries are awesome! We've been to the Easter Brunch's and they are awesome, too! Fixed menu or regular - just trust the process. They dont mess around!

If you can get by for lunch, get the Chicken sandwich, and fries. No changes. Its perfect. And look, the GM Evan even delivered my staff and I their "Lunch box" lunches to our shop!! for a special treat for my staff! With those little mini Cokes too!

For real, if this property was a Condo development, you better believe I'd be inquiring about the penthouse. Tiger & Peacock is dope. I like the downstairs better personally, but the bar up there is a friggin' treat! And the elevator is sick. Okay, its rad, make sure and go.

But if you can, and if you getta opportunity.....go sit at the bar with Derika, order a dirty martini and a side of French fries, and then you make your next decision. That'll for sure get you started properly.

Special Thanks to Billy!
Pros:

Billy has already made a great impression, and I haven’t even arrived yet. While planning my upcoming May trip to The Memphian, he’s been incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. He answered my questions quickly, provided thoughtful recommendations, and made the whole booking process feel smooth and stress-free.

It’s rare to feel this level of care before even stepping foot in a hotel, but Billy clearly goes above and beyond. Based on this experience alone, I’m really looking forward to my stay—he’s set the tone for what I expect will be a great visit.

Consistently exceptional stays at The Memphian - Outstanding hotel in Memphis!
Pros:

I’ve had consistently outstanding stays at the Memphian—about 20 visits since 2022, when my son started at Rhodes College. The hotel delivers friendly, attentive service, beautifully maintained rooms, and excellent on-site dining and bar options. Its walkable location, with numerous great restaurants and bars nearby, makes it especially convenient. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator, Brian Dodson, is exceptionally responsive and helpful, making every stay a positive one.

Fantastic Experience
Pros:

We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience here. Although there was initially an issue with our reservation that took some time to resolve, the team at the front desk (Billy and Annette) were extremely helpful and friendly and took charge to make sure everything was resolved properly and we were well taken care of. They are true gems!
The hotel is lovely, and everyone we had the pleasure of encountering during our stay whether in the hotel, resteraunt, or rooftop lounge, was warm, professional, and knowledgeable.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend staying with the lovely folks at The Memphian! You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful, Upscale, & Perfect Location!
Pros:

The Memphian, by far, is my favorite hotel in Memphis!! The location is perfect. Decor & ambiance is very upscale, inviting, & colorful- not boring & white washed like others. The rooms are always clean and fresh. The employees are friendly & attentive- especially Billy! I live in the area and the Memphian will always be my first choice during a staycation.

Five Star Hotel
Pros:

We had a wedding reception on the roof of The Memphian and it was a fabulous event. The venue, food, beverage and staff were fabulous. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are excellent. Outstanding and convenient location. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. I give the Memphian my highest recommendation, truly a five star property. Don't forget to go to the roof top (Tiger and Peacock) as it is a one in a million place)

I have found the place I will stay anytime in Memphis! Eclectic, unique, and tasteful decor. Hotel was very clean and staff wonderful. Great area with restaurant choices. I’m very picky when it comes to hotels. I’m so glad a friend in Memphis recommended this place!

Memphis' New Gem
Pros:

The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was so kind. Check-in time was 3PM, but I had brunch reservations at "The Complicated Pilgrim" at 1 PM. After enjoying a great brunch/lunch, I asked if there was any way I could possibly check in early since I didn't really have anything else I needed to do before 3PM. The front desk staff were so kind and quick to let me know that was no problem at all. We were checked in within 10 minutes of finishing brunch (AMAZING FOOD), and sprawled out on the bed trying to recover!!! However, that is my one complaint... that bed was HARD! I didn't sleep so well, but I had a lot of anxiety for board exams the next morning, so... lets blame it on anxiety. The Memphian is a great choice in an awesome location with plenty to do nearby, and offers a very nice, upscale, experience. The Memphian is worth the couple extra dollars if you are looking for something away from downtown, but with the downtown hospitality feel of the bigger hotel chains. Again... great food at "The Complicated Pilgrim". We did not go the bar that is on the 7th floor (it has its's own elevator!!), because from what we read they encouraged a collared shirt and/or blazers for men, so since I had just packed hoodies and blue jeans (so I could be comfortable when testing), but I will go back in the future with the appropriate attire to give the Tiger and Peacock a try!! All in all it was a lovely stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on a little vacation from the house that isn't too far away!!

Cons:

The bed was a bit hard and I wasn't able to sleep well. That being said, I had boards the next morning, as well as 2 ruptured disc in my back, so... was it the bed itself, or my multitude extenuating circumstances? We will see next time... I passed the boards and had surgery to fix the back 10 days later! Next time it's going to be on the mattress if it is a fail!! Everything else was great.

Great hotel stay
Pros:

Newer hotel with excellent service and available parking. Rooms large and clean. Not noisy. Many dining options nearby that are walkable from the hotel. Would highly suggest as a better option than hotels near downtown.

Disappointed
Cons:

We came back to the hotel to find NO parking in their save protective lot. Another stay our reserved room was taken. On another
stay we were double charged.
We’ll be finding other places to stay.
