Tolles Hotel direkt am Bodensee
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Bodensee. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Alles ist zu Fuss oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen, und es gibt auch einen Parkplatz. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, und auch das Restaurant, in dem wir einmal gegessen haben, bietet tolles Essen! Und es gibt noch eine Bar, in der man in gemütlichem Ambiente eine Drink geniessen kann,

Cons:

Der Empfang bei der Anreise war etwas durchwachsen. Die Mitarbeiterin war zwar freundlich, liess sich aber leicht ablenken und hat somit Fehler gemacht (z.B. war das Parkticket falsch programmiert, so dass wir nicht auf den Parkplatz fahren konnten). Der Einstieg in das verlängerte Wochenende war dadurch etwas holprig, alle anderen Mitarbeiter haben dies aber mehr als gut gemacht.
Der Saunabereich ist sehr klein, für ein Wellness-Aufenthalt ist das Hotel deshalb aus unserer Sicht nicht geeignet
(es sei denn, man geht in die öffentliche Therme, welche fast direkt nebenan liegt).

Pros:

Die Lage ist optimal, sehr schön am Bodensee gelegen und nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum. Das Hotel, wie auch die Zimmer, sind mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Der Parkplatz ist nicht weit vom Hotel. Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung professionnel und sehr freundlich. das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ansprechend. Das Restaurant und die Terrasse liegen im Park direkt an der Promenade und haben einen herrlichen Blick.

Cons:

Die junge Dame am Empfang war anscheinend durch eine Änderung am Computer genervt! Da ich gerade beim Einchecken war musste ich die Diskussion mit ihrer Kollegin mitverfolgen. Mich behandelte sie verbal korrekt aber ihre Attitüde war süffisant und herablassend. Dies stand im krassen Gegensatz mit dem Rest des Personals, die alle sehr freundlich waren.

Das teure Abendessen wurde in einem Durchgangszimmer serviert, das erkennbar Frühstücksraum war. Sitzmöbel im Zimmer waren alt und fleckig.

Pretty, peaceful and very comfortable
Pros:

Our room was beautiful, with a clear view of the gardens and lake. I didn't want to leave that view behind! The location is perfect, on the edge of town but literally a 5 minute walk from the shops and ferries around the lake. The breakfast selection was varied and healthy.

Cons:

The spa was quite odd. We went to look at it but didn't use it. The thermal baths 5 minutes away were great though. We didn't have dinner at the hotel.

Perfektes Hotel für einen Erholungsurlaub in Überlingen.
Pros:

Wunderbar in Seenähe gelegenes altehrwürdiges, aber modern renoviertes Hotel. Gediegen aber nicht "überdrüber". Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück.
