We loved Bristol and will come again and explore the city - we would stay at the Leonardo Hotel.
Pros:

The breakfast was really good, plenty of healthy choice, granola, muesli , cereals , fruit, yogurts etc. Very nice patisserie, and continental meats and cheese. The hot breakfast dishes were of a good choice and hot when served from buffet. Drinks machines x 2 - very efficient so no big queues, likewise the toaster machines. So overall breakfast - very very nice.
Also times given for busy, not so busy and quiet which was useful.
Also thanks so much to the team who looked after us - very efficient and friendly. Really nice team. The dining area and food services area were immaculate.
We had room service once and it was delivered very promptly and hot, and was very tasty. Drinks in the bar area very relaxed and just what we needed.
The rooms were so clean and organised and staff very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Beds and quilts, pillows - really comfortable and compatible to a good night sleep.
All the staff were really great , polite, helpful and at front desk gave as much as information locally as possible.

Cons:

Breakfast - Not much not to like - but my friend was not impressed with the coffee - but i was - however he loved the food.

Room Lock to get out of room quite difficult - pulling the door open was quite difficult as heavy - but not a big deal.

This is just a suggestion - Front desk staff were great and gave us a booklet with map of Bristol but we found elsewhere at two other venues a tear off big page map of Bristol which i think it would be good if the Hotel could have available for people who are visiting first time.

Decent value
Pros:

The location is great, within easy reach of both the train station and Cabot Circus, and the staff are warm and friendly.

Cons:

We had stayed here before and had a positive experience, which is why we decided to return. Perhaps we had remembered the rooms as being more spacious, but this time ours felt rather small, and not being able to open the windows for any fresh air made it feel even more confined.

There were also a few issues during our stay. The shower was not draining properly, which caused the bathroom to flood, and despite reminding reception twice, our room had still not been made up by 4pm.

For the price, the hotel still represents good value, but unfortunately this stay didn’t quite live up to our previous experience. We had remembered it being much better.
