Hampton Inn Montreal Downtown, Qc

Being a special time with my wife, she wanted to spend two days to visit Montreal since it has been 13 years since we last visited. I did my research and chose this hotel. After the first day, we were going to leave the next morning instead of staying the two nights. We checked in on a Tuesday and were to orginally leave Thursday morning. But after doing the Hop-on/Hop-off on Wedesday, we decided to stay Wednesday night. That was were we made made the wrong chose. To see the beautiful sights at night, we took a room on the 5th floor. This hotel has 6 floors will the 6th having a bar, entertainment area and pool. On this Wednesday, the hotel rented out the 6th floor for a latin party with loud music and dancing. Being my wife and I had a long day, we needed to get our rest for an early morning departure. We laid down at 8pm. I wear earing aids, but not when I sleep. Even without my aids, I could not sleep, nor my wife, due to the loud music and virbrations from above. At 8:30pm, I spoke to Nick, the night manager. He stated that he would go talk to them but the sound never went down. He even offered earplugs and asked if we wanted to move. No on the plugs nor the move. This hotel cares nothing of its paying guests nor being an Hilton Honors member. I am sure that others that stayed on the 5th floor felt the same. Nick stated that the party would end at 10pm. So my wife and I was unable to get our sleep. 10pm came around and passed...the music was still going strong. After another call, finally well past 10pm, it finally stopped. Again, this is totally unacceptable. They should block off ALL rooms on the 5th Floor when they are having parties. The paying guests are only second to this hotel having parties. So a take away is to ask first directly to the hotel managment if they are having parties BEFORE you decide to stay at this hotel. The other problem is the hallways coming out of the room, NO A/C. IT WAS TOTALLY HOT. Don't you have A/C?

Juste WoW pour le déjeuner. La qualité ainsi que la variété étaient très bien. L’hôtel est très bien placée, soit pour aller en peu de temps au port, dans le vieux Montréal, ou dans l’autre sens, pour aller marcher la rue Ste-Catherine, qui est toujours intéressante, quoi qu’il y a beaucoup de rénovations cette année. La qualité de la literie et des équipements ont été très bien.

Buen hotel, a una cuadra de Notre-Dame Montreal, junto esta el barrio chino y hay muchos restaurantes. El desayuno va incluido, aunque debes bajar temprano porque hay mucha gente y se hace un poco de descontrol. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El estacionamiento tiene costo adicional. La alberca esta muy pequeña.

酒店大堂和餐厅宽敞明亮，早餐丰富，楼顶拥有露天游泳池和spa池，地理位置优越，旁边就是景点和唐人街众多餐厅。住在下面一些的楼层基本不会受顶楼酒吧噪音影响。

This hotel on the border between Chinatown and Old Montreal is in a great location. Old Montreal and the waterfront are a 10-15 minute walk down rue Saint-Laurent. Lots of Chinese and other restaurants are nearby. The front desk staff are helpful. It is a big hotel and, during tourist season, very busy. Breakfast is nice, with a variety of hot and cold items. The dining room got busy 8:30 am and later--a sign is posted about busy and less busy times to eat. The staff helps people find a table. My only complaint was the WiFi did not work when we arrived, but it was fixed in 2 days.
