It was an excellent hotel in budget with friendly staff especially Shannon who is friendly, sweet and welcoming. 15 min walk from Cardiff central and everything in walkable distance.
It would be nice to provide tea/coffee inside the room.

The location was very convenient for me, with easy access by bus and train. The city centre is only a 15 minute walk away.

You can control the air conditioning, which was useful considering that the windows, where present, cannot be opened.
For a short sightseeing stay of one or two nights, it is okay, especially for solo travellers.
I don't know if this is same with every easyHotel out there but in here there are no hairdryers in the rooms so you have to ask for one at reception, and that is also subject to availability. I understand that this is a budget hotel concept, but in my opinion a hairdryer is a basic hotel-room amenity and should be provided in every room. Having to request one from reception and getting one like a gamble is a real shame.
I also paid slightly more specifically for a room with a window because I wanted to be able to get some fresh air. However, the windows cannot be opened, so paying extra for a window that doesn't open, it was disappointing.
The rooms are extremely basic. Apart from the bed, there is essentially no furniture at all... no desk, no chair, no space to put your belongings. If you are travelling for business and need somewhere to work, iron clothes, or simply sit somewhere other than the bed, this hotel is probably not suitable for you. I also think the lack of space and furniture could be inconvenient for couples, as there is barely anywhere to put your belongings.
Considering all of this, I would not stay here again.

Tiny room. I was by my self so ok. But if there were 2 of us it would have been uncomfortable. I used one side of the bed to put my suitcase and belongings. There was no where else.
Very good location, just near the city center and not far from the castle. I was there to go to a concert and I was able to also go easily to the venue. The room and bathroom were simple but nice and confortable. I did my check-in with Louis he was very friendly and kind ;)
Hotel does exactly what it says it will and does it very well. Staff are friendly. Hotel is well presented and clean. The room is small but clean and perfect for a one night stay.

friendly staff, who allowed a complimentry late check out, and luggage storage free of charge. Location was good. Bed very comfortable, close to train station, only half hour walk to Cardiff Bay
room was very small, no kettle to make hot drink, no glass in the bathroom, or anywhere else in the room, if a drink was needed in the night had to pay over the odds and use the vending machine, room was very warm and couldnt turn the thermostat down to cool temperature, only supplied with one bath towel, me and partner had to share.
