Hyatt House Charlotte Rea Farms

This is a gem of a hotel in a great location. Clean, modern rooms. Large TV, Good kitchen, Local options for food, beverage and shopping are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive or less. Uptown is about 20 minutes and Carowinds is also an easy 20 minute drive. Pool was fantastic and had a deep end, which is really nice for taller people like myself. Free EV charging station so if you rent an electric car you don't have to worry about finding a charging station. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be staying here every time that I am in Charlotte.

We checked in at midnight and the desk staff was very welcoming. Everything was spotless, beds were comfortable, plenty of room for all 4 adults to move around.

Hyatt House at Rea Farms exceeds our expectations everytime we visit. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the service is top notch.

It is very convenient to everything. Love the stores, shopping centers, and restaurants around it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and there is a variety of foods to choose from for breakfast. You can take a nice evening walk to the green and get dinner and ice cream.

The hotel is very neat, tidy and well appointed. The room was clean, well looked after, bathroom nice and spacious, towels very good quality, the bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Breakfast was varied and covered pretty much all tastes (European and Western). I have no complaints and was able to rest easily after a day of meetings so I was refreshed for the next round the following day. The hotel is situated close to an area with shops, salons and a wide variety of eateries. For casual travellers there is a pool at the hotel and large green spaces close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful hotel with the sweetest staff. Breakfast was as good as I’ve ever had at a hotel of this class. Coffee is outstanding! We needed a later checkout due to a tournament our son was playing in, and they didn’t even blink in allowing us to check out at 2:00 with no charge. I’d we ever come back to Charlotte, we would certainly stay here again!

It is a great place to stay for my purpose - which was to visit family. I find it a bit overpriced for a Hyatt House generally. However, I will admit that I don't know the general hotel prices in the Charlotte area. But - for a limited service hotel, it seems a bit high. They seem to charge full service hotel prices for a limited service hotel.

That being said, other than the pricing - I have absolutely no complaints. This was my 3rd (I think) stay at this hotel. Staff has been absolutely wonderful every time. Beds and rooms are comfortable. Everything works as it should. Breakfast is sufficient. LOTS of places to dine and/or get groceries right in the area - some within walking distance. This is now our top choice when coming up to visit our new granddaughter.

Beautiful hotel. The room was large and with a full "mini" kitchen we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. (walk in shower).
A wonderful stay! Will definitely stay here again when in town.

I stayed at Hyatt House on Rea Farms in Charlotte, North Carolina, two weeks ago, and my experience was extremely disturbing.

On my second day at the hotel, I noticed small black insects in the bed. When I looked closer, they appeared to be filled with blood. At the same time, I discovered that my body was covered in bites. I was shocked and immediately reported the situation to the front desk.

Unfortunately, the hotel did nothing meaningful to address the issue. I was simply told that they were sorry, and that was the extent of their response. No real assistance, concern, or effort to resolve the situation was offered.

As a result of what happened, I had to visit a doctor and was prescribed medication. Two weeks later, I am still dealing with painful sores and skin reactions from the bites. This has affected my health, comfort, and peace of mind.

People should be aware of my experience before booking a stay here. The hotel presents itself as a clean and comfortable place, but that was not my experience. I found the conditions unacceptable and deeply concerning from a health and sanitation standpoint.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel, and I strongly encourage management to take this issue seriously so that no other guest has to go through what I experienced

We loved most everything about the property. Suites are well priced, spacious, well appointed and overall comfortable. Breakfast was clean and good.

From the check in to the check out it was smooth and the property is clean and there is so much to do in the area . We took a few nice strolls .
