Pros:

Sehr schickes und modernes Hotel. Das Konzept mit dem "GreenHouse", dem food und shop corner wirken stimmig. Das ganze Haus ist modern und sauber. Personal ist freundlich und stets bemüht. Selbst mit den wenigen Kritikpunkten auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Man kann sich ja helfen! Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ladesäulen im direkten Umkreis ebenfalls zahlreich verfügbar.

Cons:

* Das Frühstück: Die Auswahl ist schlichtweg ein Witz für das Geld. Ebenso hat man sich für den Ort des Buffets den engsten Bereich in dem riesen Erdgeschoss ausgesucht. Ebenso ist es nicht üblich und für den Preis je Übernachtung nichtin Ordnung, dass Cappuccino, Espresso etc. nochmal extra kosten. Ist auch erstmal nicht ersichtlich.
* Leider haben die Zimmer keine gescheiten Ablagen für Kleidung.
* Der Dusche würde ein Vorhang oder Ähnliches gut tun. Nach dem Duschen ist das ganze Bad unter Wasser.

The bartender Anton was fantastic and kept us entertained! Food was excellent

Fabulous food and offerings inside. Although the bar should open well before 4pm

Cons:

The rooms were so hot, the fans were so small and didn’t do much. The first night we couldn’t open our windows because of the biting flies and screens were not put in the windows yet. Finally they put them in the second night.

Ein sehr nettes Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp, um die Umgebung zu erkunden
Pros:

Ein sehr nettes Hotel der anderen Art. Das Personal war sehr nett, das Frühstück sehr gut (man isst mitten im Shop). Das Zimmer ist nett eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Der Foodcorner bietet verschiedenste Möglichkeiten. Man kommt gut zu Fuß in den Ort und ein Supermarkt ist unmittelbar auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Cons:

Wenn die Nachbarn sehr laut sind, kann man sie manchmal hören, vor allem wenn Menschen laufen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Door did not lock
Pros:

Make sure to check that the door to your room actually locks. Ours did not, which is completely ridiculous when you see the price of the room. Hotel said there was nothing they could do. Also, said since we booked thru a vendor (Guide to Iceland) the hotel could not give us refund or discount. We are still pursuing thru vendor, but thought we should notify others of this issue. Aside from that the family, loved the atmosphere and food hall, but can’t recommend it because hotel rooms should have locking doors.
