I like the avid style and modern set up of the hotels. This is my third time staying in an avid hotel.

Cons:

The evening staff on our arrival seemingly were disorganized and unprofessional. I’d called a couple of hours before our arrival to see if we could get an early check-in. They told me that it was not available, however, when I arrived, I overheard the two front desk clerks, stating that they were just beginning to assign rooms in. There were no other guest waiting on an early check-in or rooms to be assigned. It seemed as if they intentionally waited too well after the check-in time to begin assigning rooms and that was very frustrating, considering that I called in advance.

The location was close to the attractions. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. I also liked that they had a beverage station available all day.

Cons:

Breakfast was subpar! The selection needed a choice of a waffle station or pancake maker. Outside of that, the staff was pleasant and helpful! Room lacked a microwave.

They stay was good, it’s the lack of communication afterwards and the lack of caring about charging twice.
Pros:

It was clean and the front desk staff were amazing

Cons:

I was charged twice for the room and they have not responded to emails or phone calls about it. I was told I’d receive a receipt in my inbox and the money back in 2-4 business days. They have done neither and it’s been 2 weeks now
