The staff were friendly, facilities were good and location was great.

This past Saturday, July 18th, my husband and I were traveling from O’Hare (through Newark) to see Bon Jovi perform on Sunday night (7/19). We had an 8:40am flight. At 2:15pm, our flight was cancelled due to weather in metro NYC causing ground stops. After rescheduling, we were rerouted to Boston with a connecting flight to Newark, getting us into Manhattan after midnight. I called the hotel to explain the travel nightmare and I gave my authorization to check us in over the phone. Within less than five minutes, our flight from Boston to Newark was cancelled (still bad weather). I immediately called the hotel and explained my plight to Christopher, as I didn’t want to be charged for the room for Saturday, but still needed Sunday's reservation. He put me on a brief hold and told me that he’d be able to cancel my reservation. He told me to book a separate reservation for just Sunday. I did that with him on the phone. He confirmed he was able to see it in the system, and then he cancelled my original reservation. After 32 hours of travel, we finally made it to the hotel. We were able to check in and relax before heading out. Our travel was a nightmare, but Christopher was able to remove my anxiety by ensuring we would not be charged for our initial reservation. Thank you, Christopher!!!

From the moment we booked the reservation until the time we checked out, we were treated like royalty. Francisco, (Walter, the manager), Ashton who checked us in and Fatima were excellent! The hotel concierge and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and well taken care of! We were already elated about being in NYC for our 9th wedding anniversary, but Walter and the staff's smiles and warm personalities made our stay exceptional, memorable and phenomenal! Their professionalism, kindness and attention to detail made our stay feel like home away from home.The hotel itself was exceptionally beautiful and clean; our room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was phenomenal! We also enjoyed the fact that we could pepreparw meals in our room if we chose to. The location of the facility in the beautiful floral district made it surreal! The kitchen and breakfast hosts were dynamic and ensured that everything was delicious! Again, they offered great attention to detail! They offered various delicious items to choose from! Everything was satisfying and delectable! If you are looking for an affordable, beautiful hotel that feels like home away from home, this is most definitely your place! The train station was a 2 minute walk from the hotel so it was easy to get where we needed to go! It is also walkable distance from there to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Please select TownPlace Suites in Chelsea/Manhattan for your next stay and you will not be disappointed! We highly recommend this beautiful facility to everyone!
