If you’re looking to visit Chinatown or even just Chicago in general, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is so clean, staff are beyond friendly and accommodate so well. You’re essentially in the heart of Chinatown you can walk as much as you want. Take breaks refresh go back out absolutely perfect for that part of time. Parking in the hotel is so reasonably priced and you can go in and out if you want making the short drive to downtown Chicago well worth it. So many delicious Asian cuisine options, well still maintaining a modern atmosphere within the hotel. I stayed in the king size room, very spacious and comfortable. Also was surprisingly quiet even during the busy time.
Loved the location and the room was super clean neat and very spacious. Beds were very comfy.
Parking is not good! We had to park about quarter mile from hotel so about 10 minute walk. There is a ramp next to hotel but its super small and fills up quickly.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding — Our Go-To Hotel in Chicago!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about SpringHill Suites Chicago Chinatown, and especially about Tania and her incredible staff!
From the very first time we stayed here back in June, my wife and I were so impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality that we immediately said, “This is our hotel from now on whenever we come to Chicago!” And every visit since then has only confirmed that we made the right choice.
Tanya is exceptional. She and her staff always make us feel genuinely welcome, and that feeling extends throughout the entire hotel. From the front desk and reception staff to housekeeping and the cleaning team, everyone we encounter is friendly, courteous, professional, and willing to help. You can tell that providing excellent service is truly important to this team.
The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The attention to cleanliness throughout the property is especially impressive, and the housekeeping staff deserves tremendous recognition for the work they do.
The location is another huge advantage. You’re right in Chicago’s Chinatown, with so many wonderful restaurants and places to explore within easy reach, while also being conveniently located for visiting downtown Chicago and the city’s other attractions. It makes an excellent home base for anyone visiting Chicago.
But what really separates this hotel from others is the people. A beautiful or convenient hotel is one thing, but when the staff consistently makes you feel welcome and appreciated, that’s what makes you want to return.
Tanya and the entire SpringHill Suites Chicago Chinatown team: THANK YOU! Thank you for making us feel so welcome every time we’re here and for maintaining such a high standard of hospitality. You have earned our loyalty, and we look forward to staying with you every time we return to Chicago.
Without hesitation, FIVE STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommended — and absolutely our home away from home in Chicago! ❤️🏨

Great location, fair price, convenient parking. Nicer and cheaper than anything downtown of the same quality. Close to the train so downtown is only 15 minutes away anyway, and Chinatown was hopping
The hotel atmosphere was calming and welcoming, and the location was perfect—central to many restaurants and shops in Chinatown. We stayed in a single king bed suite and it was perfect for our weekend stay. Our room was clean and the entire building (including amenities: gym, etc. ) were evidently well maintained. Though located in the busyness of the city, our stay was peaceful and we were never disturbed by any loud noise. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive to any needs we had. Our experience was well worth the cost of our stay and we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Chicago.
Great location, close Uber ride to Millennium Park, The Bean etc. Some parking spaces out front making check in easy, just parked there to drop off luggage and check in then moved the car to the parking garage. Very convenient parking with in/out privileges when you validate the parking with the front desk. Breakfast was excellent... fresh strawberries, bacon, eggs etc etc etc lots of variety. Stayed in a room with two beds and a trundle, lots of room for everyone. Chinatown neighborhood very vibrant and fun! Would definitely stay there again.
Breakfast was great. Loved the quiet room
Tiny parking garage
Want a wonderful experience of Chicago that's minutes away from downtown and at half the price?
Springhill Suites Chinatown is your place. You can easily hop on the CTA Red Line and travel to downtown and quickly walk to the Magnificent Mile as well as Navy Pier, and for you baseball fans, hop on the Red Line in the opposite direction for Rate Field.
Want more? Parking is $30 a night with, yes, with in/out privileges.
Now here's the beauty - Chinatown. We fell in love with the neighborhood, great shops, and the restaurant offerings.
Our 8 year old grandchild loved everything about it.
I highly recommend this hotel for the next time anyone travels to Chicago!
The location is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful, providing exceptional customer service. I will definitely be returning to this hotel!
I usually don’t write reviews but felt like I’m so impressed by this hotel and would like to advocate for it.
This is my Best stay I’ve ever had with a hotel. The room is large and almost a suite. The design flow is so functional and ergonomic friendly without unnecessary overhead. Small details tell the hotel knows what customers are really care and appreciate the most. For example, it has the suite case rack on top of the AC unit allowing you to lay your suitcase on the top, each room has extra dessert and a blanket in case you have an extra guest. It even has this pullout sofa bed to accommodate extra guest. A lot other things I won’t drain here. The front desk is vey attentive and helpful, they care your stay experience. Overall, I’m super happy with the stay and would highly recommend to anyone who likes to stay close to Chinatown area and want a clean highly attended stay experience! Thank you!
Great neighborhood, clean, easy to get public transportation or a cab. Room and bath spacious & spotless, effective blackout shade. Excellent breakfast. Help and pleasant staff.
While our overnight stay was fine and luggage storage after check-out went smoothly, our experience took a turn for the worse upon our return. We were denied the simple courtesy of waiting in the lobby for a few hours before our airport transfer. As guests, we expected much better treatment and are dissatisfied with this policy
Excellent location, very pleasant staff, good breakfast, luggage storage
Everything was great
Cost too much per night
