It was ok
Pros:

It’s modern, still under construction, maybe the end project will be better, good location- whataburger and Golden Corral in 5min or less walking distance.

Cons:

Wasn’t cleaned properly, we had open soaps under the restroom vanity, only one mirror in restroom making it hard to get ready while someone else showers, the neighbor dog kept barking, towels had hair, no shade whatsoever at the pool

We will be looking for another hotel in the near future. It

Location was good

Cons:

The AC leaked water into the room. The floor was messed up, and I had to be careful. The trim around the closet came off the wall. The bathtub would not drain properly. Last night, we asked for more towels since our room wasn't cleaned that morning. The front desk person asked us to bring our dirty towels down. We told them no; we wouldn't bring the towels down, and they could come to the room and grab them. The hallways had numerous decorations. The door would not shut properly without being slammed shut.

Stay at the Hamilton Inn instead across the street.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable. The pool water and the area was clean.

Cons:

Breakfast was terrible. The coffee was stale and brewed at 6:00am. It is not a comfortable and ambient type of hotel. It does not entice you to go back. If you’re looking to spend the night and not use the amenities then it is for you.

It was clean, staff was friendly

Cons:

Beds were the most uncomfortable ever, I could literally feel the springs digging into my back. This was our first ti.e staying at a La Quinta and I will never again.
