The room was clean but no view
You could hear people above you moving around.Breakfast was at monster and it was only just warm and they wouldn’t heat it up.

Check in need to pay $100 even though room was prepaid, I get this however information from staff was incorrect, needs to be clear about this. Room was clean however above shower 6 very long dark hairs stuck on ceiling. My TV wasnt working and same staff member as check in just said that they had roadworks out back and could not help would likely to come back on, it didnt. Next day another staff member was great said he would sort it or move rooms. Returned to it working.
Clean, comfortable and good price
Nice modern bathroom.
The position right at the top of Queen St which is a VERY steep street to walk both up and down. I felt a little unsafe at night walking back from city. Wasn't sure about using public transport. If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you.
They don't have a room service, only wrapped chocolate bars etc so had to get uber eats.
Need to sort their lighting system as very strange..had to access torch on phone in order to find my way into the room as switches didn't work near entrance.

The hotel is in a fairly good location, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were quite friendly.
However, the breakfast was very limited, and the walls are not soundproof, so I could clearly hear a child making noise in the room above.
The hotel also charged a security deposit. According to the special conditions on Booking.com, it should have been released within 7 days after check-out. Instead, it was released after 14 days. Although I eventually received the money, I believe the hotel should respect the conditions stated in the booking terms and not blame the bank /as they tried to do/.
Breakfast was good, but a little light on selection. Had same offering 3 mornings in a row. Would like a little more variety with cooked food.

For me personally, location. It is at the top of Queen St so a long, uphill walk. Good exercise though 😄
Really tidy and modern room, handy location to central event
Parking initially to check in was tricky - had to park around the block. Also booked parking with the room but you wouldn't want to have a big car - very limited space
Location was perfect for my requirements
The balcony were ordinary
the online photos made it appear they had their own restaurant and bar when it was actually separate but next door, my only issue was it was not always open when we wanted to eat or get a beverage

Great location, clean rooms and excellent facilities, great price! Very happy to have stayed here.
Staff were incredibly friendly but busy, always took a little while to respond to calls/people at counter (but very apologetic and lovely about it!) Perhaps understaffed? Car parking was tricky for bigger cars and parking on the second level is dependent on a staff member giving you access. But overall great place.
