I was with my husband last month Melas Hotel is our second home the staff were fantastic especially Selim with his nice smile Nosra ASU I appreciate all the staff front desk room service cleaning staff.Thank you so much for making our trip enjoyable. also the location is very convenient by all means.We will come back soon to this lovely hotel.Thank you so much.❤️❤️❤️

We enjoyed our stay to max the hotel is super clean and nearby many attractions, Slim and Nusra we supper supportive and nice, 100% coming back again after this second stay , 😀

Ons verblijf in dit hotel in Istanbul was over het algemeen erg prettig. Het hotel was schoon, de kamers waren netjes en het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Helaas was er één grote teleurstelling. We hebben tijdens ons verblijf op twee verschillende momenten aan het personeel gevraagd of de minibar gratis was. Beide keren werd ons duidelijk verteld dat deze gratis was. Bij het uitchecken heb ik bovendien nog gevraagd of alles in orde was en of er nog openstaande kosten waren. Ook toen werd bevestigd dat alles was afgehandeld.
Tot mijn verbazing werd ik pas gebeld toen ik al op het vliegveld was. Er werd mij verteld dat ik alsnog een openstaande rekening had voor de minibar. De communicatie hierover was erg onduidelijk en door de taalbarrière begreep ik in eerste instantie niet waar het over ging. Uiteindelijk moest ik mijn creditcardgegevens doorgeven om €58,30 te betalen voor twee kleine flesjes wijn, een Red Bull, een Sprite en een drankje.
Het gaat mij niet alleen om het bedrag, maar vooral om de onduidelijke en tegenstrijdige communicatie. Als ons vanaf het begin was verteld dat de minibar niet gratis was, of als dit bij het uitchecken was aangegeven, was er geen probleem geweest. Dit heeft helaas een vervelende indruk achtergelaten
Don't expect too much just because you've seen the 5-star rating, but it's comfortable. Day reception and staff are really nice and helpful, the night shift reception was so rude.
