The check in was great,staff very friendly.
There only issue was that the jacuzzi was not working.

Shower was excellent and bathroom very clean. General room cleanliness was good. Decor was good and did not appear dated.
Staff were slow. Attempted to over charge us at the bar. Manager deliberately took their time in the hope of getting us to say don’t worry about it. Over priced therefore did not have it. Had it been cheaper would have considered. £15 is too much. To quality poor. Reception and bar furniture dated and dirty.

Hotel chaleureux et silencieux malgré la présence de la gare. Personnel agréable et accueillant. Piscine et espace santé tres bien entretenus. Restaurant plutôt qualitatif. Petit-déjeuner copieux.
I liked the lobby area with the bar. Very comfortable place to meet and hang out in between trips out or after dinner. The breakfast was good. The staff were responsive and quick to restock items. I liked that there was a swimming pool and enjoyed the sauna. The location was great for trains and buses into the city centre. Plenty of parking.
The pool was on the small side. It was annoying to go down to the reception to pick up a key card and towels before each trip, but I presume it was due to keeping the leisure area unstaffed. The trip ended in disappointment as we had hoped for a family swim before our check out. Unfortunately there was an issue with the pool and it was closed for repair. I also didn't like that we had to pay extra for parking. A discounted rate or free parking would have been appreciated. We had two cars and it added a lot of extra cost for our 4 night stay.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel facilities were excellent and the selection of food available for breakfast was varied for both cooked and continental breakfasts.
The only thing I can think of is that the Hotel is quite a distance from the city centre, the taxi fare was expensive but we had chosen the hotel and site so that isn't linked to Novotel.
It was beautifully modern. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was an adequate size. We stayed up in the hotel bar till late and the bar staff were very accommodating.
our iron didn’t work, but we got a replacement.
