På trods af faciliteter til kaffe og te, var der ikke kaffe på værelse - kun te. Man kunne lugte at folk røg på værelserne.

Die Betten waren bequem. Große Dusche. Das Frühstück war besser als erwartet.

Der lerzte Tick Sauberkeit fehlte zumindest in meinem Zimmer. TV-Empfang fiel teilweise aus. ZI 103, wenn der Schlüsselsafe bedient wurde.

A very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.

When we arrived, our room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The situation became even worse because guests were smoking on the emergency staircase directly outside our room. The staircase door was left open and bottles used as ashtrays were placed outside, making it obvious that this was a regular smoking area.

Since the room was extremely hot, we had no choice but to keep the window open, which meant cigarette smoke continuously entered our room throughout the evening.

This was especially concerning because one of our children has asthma. During the night, our child developed a persistent cough and had difficulty sleeping due to the smoke.

I contacted the hotel through the live chat on their website as soon as we discovered the problem, but unfortunately I never received any response. After our stay, I also sent a formal complaint directly to the hotel, but again received no reply. The complete lack of response has been just as disappointing as the issues we experienced during our stay.

The hotel’s location was also a major disappointment. It is situated in what felt like a deserted industrial area, with very little activity around it. We stayed for just one night while travelling through Germany, but I did not feel comfortable leaving our luggage in the car overnight because the area felt isolated and unsafe.

We expected a clean, smoke-free room and responsive customer service. Unfortunately, we experienced neither. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel, especially not to families with children or to travellers looking for a safe and comfortable overnight stop

Pros:

Het was gewoon prima! Medewerkers vriendelijk. Ontbijt was heel lekker - ze hadden echt veel keuze.
Goed geslapen in de bedden. Alles goed.

Cons:

Locatie. Maar niet erg omdat het toch een soort doorreis hotel is.
