The staff is 100% service oriented. We arrived late and got our room assigned. The next morning we realized the room wasn't to our like, dark, limited space to sit, so we went to reception with our remark. Without hesitation, the showed us 2 other rooms and we moved in there without problems. The breakfast area is maybe not the most pristine location, but its clean and the staff is wonderful. Pleanty of advice on what to do, where to go and how to go. Just perfect.

Clean hotel in Karaköy with lots to see and lots of nice restaurants nearby. Nicely decorated hotel and great location if you want to explore all around Istanbul. Very nice staff and good breakfast on the roof terrace with great views. A great way to start the day! Comfortable beds and the room was cleaned well every day.
The hotel is a bit worn out. Very dark and narrow stairwells. Poor soundproofing in the windows, unfortunately all the noise from the street could be heard all night. Luckily I am a good sleeper despite the noise from the street at night! We had the comfort room and it was quite small for two persons. For some reason, there was only a few channels on the TV. I don't mean that I came there to watch TV, but in the morning it is nice to watch different channels during the morning routine, which I am used to when traveling.
We had a wonderful stay at Root Hotel Karaköy! The location is absolutely fantastic — right in the heart of Karaköy, surrounded by plenty of cafés, restaurants and shisha spots, with Galata just a short and enjoyable walk away.
What really stood out was the hotel staff. They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Karaköy is such a great area to stay in if you want to explore Istanbul, with so much within walking distance while still having a lovely neighbourhood feel.
Definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back!

Amazing location. Surrounded by the best caves and restaurants, close to Tram and Ferry. The staff is super lovely and such a cool vibe to the place !
The breakfast is disappointing. Limited and repeat options, toaster doesn’t work. Also our room had no door in the bathroom which was uncomfortable.

الغرفه الاولى كانت جداً ضيقه مو نفس المتوقع لدرجة ماقدرت افتح شناطي واخذ راحتي بس اليوم الثاني غيروها لي للغرفه اوسع وارتحت بس كل شي ثاني كان حلو ونظيف وقريب من الاماكن السياحيه والبحر
