Pros:

Super clean and nice I just wish hotel price was a bit cheaper or else we would have stayed for another two nights

Cons:

Nothing is was all really nice just no parking unless you pay $66 per night for valet

Parfait très bel hôtel

Cons:

Le bruit intense provenant de la ventilation qui se trouve sur le toit mais au dessous de notre chambre au 5eme étage - très désagréable c’est dommage car la literie est très confortable

excellent Berkeley stay
Pros:

I mostly liked the hotel's location, breakfast, view, lobby, and taxi service. Additionally, reception personnel were very helpful in answering my questions about the city. When we had a fire alarm in the middle of the night, hundreds of customers left the hotel safely. The hotel staff was very helpful and smiling.

Pros:

Great hotel in a very walkable city - Right next to UC Berkeley campus. Lots of food choices in nearby restaurants! And Target is around the corner which was an added bonus.
Loved the breakfast every morning. Plenty of food choices.
Had a few issues figuring out the washing machine - but got it done!

GREAT Hotel Stay
Pros:

I always have a great stay at this hotel. It's in a wonderful location with many restaurants and shopping places nearby. It's adjacent to UC Berkley and it's fun to walk on the campus. The staff is very good at this hotel and pleasant to work with.

Great location, close to Berkley and good food and coffee. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

The room was huge and loved that it had a kitchen, sitting area and a separate office area. The bed was comfortable and the room was really clean and nice.

Cons:

The automatic light in the bathroom was a little annoying because it went on when you walked by and because I get up in the night, it lit up the whole room.

Pros:

Excellent petit-déjeuner, personnel agréable ; très bon emplacement par rapport à l'Université. Proche des transports, les bus ou le BART (qui est juste à côté et qui permet de venir très facilement depuis l'aéroport et d'aller à San Francisco).

We love it.
Pros:

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The entire staff - front desk, parking, housekeeping, every single individual who works there - was truly helpful, friendly, attentive, respectful, and excellent at their job. The rooms were clean, well lit, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking. It is a happy place to stay.

Great visit!
Pros:

Friendliest staff from valet to the front desk. Great breakfast. Quiet room, comfortable bed. Perfect location to visit the college, easy walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Keys to not one, but TWO Occupied rooms. NO SECURITY! NO APOLOGIES!
Pros:

I have stayed here several times and have had relatively good experiences. Not today. Check in was speedy; however, when I went to my supposed room there was someone else's belongings in it and towels all over the floor. The room was obviously occupied. This has never happened to me before, but I thought, okay perhaps a rare mistake. I told the front desk and got no apology, but a new key to a room that was ALSO occupied when I showed up. After two occupied rooms my husband said he wasn't comfortable with me staying there as they obviously have no security, so I asked for a refund. They gave it to me, but again, no real apology or concern. Stay away! Not safe!

Awesome
Pros:

This residence Inn is a gem in the middle of busy active Berkeley
The breakfast is delicious with options for every diet. The rooms are pristine and spacious, and as close to home as a hotel can be.
And the layout affords are really quiet night for sleep

Great UC Berkeley location
Pros:

Location to UC Berkeley and the south side area is great. Breakfast and service was very good. Staff at the front was wonderful. Lobby area is very nice.

Cons:

Substantial construction noise on the north side. Rooms are best suited for two to four people for a longer stay. Rooms are a bit on the pricy side. Beware of homeless people on the streets outside the hotel. I encountered a homeless man swinging a stick and yelling at no one, and a lady taking a poop on the sidewalk. It's regretful that Berkeley will not address the homeless problem in the area. They are doing a disservice to the community and the unfortunate homeless people.

A+ all around.
Pros:

The location is awesome. Hotel was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and quiet. I spent 25 years in the hotel business and it is always easy to spot a well run hotel. This is a well run hotel. The energy is so positive and the staff is happy, efficient and helpful. Excellent stay!!!

Perfect Stay in Berkeley.
Pros:

My husband & I traveled to Berkeley to see our daughter & her family & stayed one night. We were warmly greeted & received a wonderful corner room with a view of Cal. The room was perfect! The neighborhood is wonderful. Lots of restaurants & shops just outside the entrance. It’s a great location!
