Great hotel
Pros:

Fantastic hotel, clean, well equipped with spacious rooms. The best thing was the Waitrose next door which was the icing on the cake. Recommend it.

dissapointing
Pros:

breakfast was very basic, haphazard service, lack of choice. seating in foyer too low to eat at

we were put in a disabled room, this was not booked or requested. we were not told it was that type of room on check in.
by the time we checked in we couldn't be bothered to make a fuss but it did disappoint and spoilt our stay, on this occasion was brief.
the most annoying thing about this property is there is no access to the hotel from the carpark, the route to the entrance is also not easy and sloped which with cases is not easy. it would be so easy to use the emergency door, easily accessible from the car park as an additional entrance

Noisy fan in the bathroom which wouldn’t turn off even with the lights off!

Very comfortable and welcoming
Pros:

The location of the hotel was really good as we were visiting family nearby. The staff were excellent. Very welcoming and helpful, especially the lady helping to make the waffles at breakfast.

Perfect place to stay for a night or two
Pros:

It was new and clean and beds were comfortable

Cons:

It was a little cold in the shower room. No towel heater. The heater/air conditioner not easy to work so we felt cold getting ready but it was only one night and once in bed it really didn’t matter
