Clean, good location, absolutely no storage
Pros:

It’s in the heart of Summertown, a lovely area on the edge of Oxford.

Cons:

The room was extremely small and lacked anywhere to put anything, apart from a small alcove by each bed. We had to put our stuff in a pile on the floor immediately behind the door - not ideal. A hook or two would have been appreciated as a minimum.

Enshittification in Concrete
Pros:

We chose the facility (in hindsight, we deem the term "hotel" is not justified) for its modern outside appearance – presumably built only a few years ago – and its location: a bit off the city center, yet well connected to the city highlights by public transport.

Cons:

Whoa – what a flophouse! Because of concerns, based upon earlier reviews, that the regular rooms are inconveniently small cubicles, we rented a somewhat larger Double Room for Disability Access.
Larger, it was. But the room design is reminding of s prison cell – no chair(s), no table, no wardrobe – literally nothing, except for a bed, that you have come to expect from a "hotel". Daylight is admitted through a crenel-like slit window.
Rooms *do* offer air con. Ours was on full blast – way too cold and noisy. There was a fancy touchscreen on the wall that *apparently* let you control temp and air stream, but had no effect whatsoever. When asked about it, the staff admitted right away that, "unfortunately, there is no way to control air con in the room; it's all central." What a gimmick!
Our stay there was just awkward and outright miserable.

Clean and comfortable stay, exactly what we needed a short stay over.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. Check-in and the overall experience were straightforward, and it was perfectly suitable for a short stopover.

Cons:

The only downside for us was the limited space around the bed. It was quite tight, so you couldn’t walk around the bed normally and had to side-shuffle your way around it.
