The staff were amazing
Location is excellent - right across from the Ikebukuro station. There is even an underground passage way right across from the hotel if it is raining. Literally just 20 steps away.
7-11 on the first floor of the hotel. Plenty of Family Marts and Lawsons near by.
Room was very functional and there was space to open up our large luggage. Shower area was spacious - which I preferred over a tub anyway. Hooks in the room to hang up wet towels - a thoughtful inclusion that surprisingly most hotel rooms lack. 2 bottles of water provided daily - again much appreciated.
Lobby was on the 3rd floor - not large but functional. Luggage storage provided for free. Very nice and helpful staff. Genuinely cheery.
Small to medium sized hotel. 2 lifts serving the building but since there were not that many rooms on each floor - no waiting at all.
Maybe 2 pillows per person instead of just 1.
The place is very new and clean / bed is comfortable we stay in twin room with 1 toddler and it's enough space to manage things, not that big but enough/ the bath room water runs well and good pressure love it. Very convenient to go to subway. There are subway exit in front of hotel but not elevator so we need to walk to the main Ikkeburo station cause we have stroller, but no problem at all cause it's super near.
The washing machine is limited and no dryer separate from washer makes the queue very full. Need to manage time which is hard.
Location and room were both ideal for a solo traveler. Ikebukuro station is a 5 minute walk to get onto lines to all the usual tourist spots, and I really liked spending my evenings walking around Ikebukuro and I was always close to go back to the hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Cleaning was done whenever it was asked for and everything in the room was clean and worked well on arrival.
No major issues. I would not recommend booking with breakfast included for more than a few days as I started getting tired of the buffet and went to other places.
Good location.
Bathroom - bathtub seems modern but water spills out to the floor at one end. The top of wash basin where water faucet is slant towards the sink, whatever is put there slide gradually into the sink.
Room - twin room with two single beds placed side by side like a double bed. No luggage rack, not even a small one.
