Pros:

Amazing location, our room was in the 21st floor and had a breathtaking view on NYC. Very clean and comfortable room.

Excellent location, superb interior, really clean, great rooftop bar
Pros:

The location was superb, Times Square is 5 minutes away, which is great for going on day trips or similar - the starting point is ogten Times Square. Also, if planning to go to a Broadway show, the theatres are also on a walking distance (5-10 mins). Everything is reachable, of course the metro stations too. The room and the bathroom were larger then I expected, everything was clean, they changed the towels every day. Breakfast - you get relly tasty pastries, coffee, tea, milk, boiled eggs, butter, jam, fruit, yogurt - a nice breakfast overall. There is a superb rooftop on the 28th floor offering a great view of NYC.

Cons:

The only thing I could state is maybe the option of a wider choice for breakfast - in sorts of eggs cooked in different ways, cheeses, hams, vegetables etc - but it seems to me it is more of a European type of breakfast and not a standard in the US. However, the breakfast was still really tasty and offered enough choice of really tasty pastries.

Undisclosed "Guest Experience Fee" of $45.90 per Day
Cons:

The hotel was standard but at the end of our stay after we checked out their was an undisclosed Guest Experience fee of $45.90 for no experience. We just did not use any facilities, restaurant, bars, ect. Just slept there and after our stay I received an email of an additional guest experience fee of $49.90 and also the $200 deposit. I would be ok if this was shown as included in the price so I could see the price compared to other similar hotels. I go to midtown once a month and was looking forward to having The Civilan be my home base but I will look for a comparable hotel that does not have undisclosed fees. They also sent about 6 texts to my phone during my stay and also emails and it was annoying to be disturbed.

Super pour un séjour à New York
Pros:

La situation géographique. Divers réceptionnistes sont à l’accueil mais tous très compétents. Le Rooftop l’ambiance, la vue !! Topissime ! je n’ai pas essayé le restaurant, mais le complexe en général est accueillant avec plusieurs services, j’avais une chambre très calme

Il n’y avait que deux ascenseurs

Trevligt hotell med toppenläge
Pros:

Litet men trevligt rum med utsikt (vi hade mot Hudsonfloden). Frukosten var enkel men tillräcklig och frukostrummet var väldigt trevligt med möjlighet att sitta ute. Jättebra läge. Nära flera tunnelbanestationer.
