Very disappointing and would not recommend to anyone to stay there.
Pros:

The location was good.
The reception staff and coffee staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The carpet square in the room needed replacing badly. It basically looked like a crime scene.
When we decided to have dinner in one of the rooftop restaurants we noticed a sign that said they were closed to the public. Several other guests told us that they received text messages to advise of the restaurants closures the day before they checked in. We didn’t receive one and had to just have a snack in the coffee shop.
The breakfast was disappointing and not worth the money. No tables were cleared after each course and staff we just walking around. Bad service.
We did not pay the $50 parking fee.

It was only an overnight stay to attend a function....I wish it could have been longer !
Pros:

Breakfast was fine, as was the service. Selection a little small but quite adequate.
Also, dinner was really enjoyable the previous evening and service excellent.
Overall, the Restaurant deserves a 10.
Thank you.

Cons:

Parking maybe ?
Also, the shower set-up difficult to manage.
(I am 85 years old !)

Crystal Kingsley hotel Newcastle (known as 'Wedding cake')was the "Icing on the Cake" of our stay
Pros:

The breakfast was the norm of other hotels but adequate, the views were lovely, but the Staff were exceptionally kind & caring to us, for every meal there.

Cons:

My husband is handicapped but the staff esp.the Receptionists & other allied Staff, were very caring, helpful in every manner & bent backward for us. We couldn't default them. I will write a separate letter to management too pointing out all those involved, as it made up for stresses & the difficult journey to Newcastle & the other hiccups we had while in Newcastle, not related to them, but helped to ease our stress. I would recommend them to friends.

Cons:

Due to some filming advertisadvertismm I was originally asked to leave the restaurant.

Well designed rooms in central city location close to art gallery, Civic Tgeatre and night life.
Pros:

Rooms well designed and functional with comfort able bed and pillows and spacious bathroom.

Cons:

Valet parking is necessary at the property but works efficiently.
No bathrobes or slippers.

Cons:

The hotel needs to employ properly trained staff at reception. It needs to answer the guest services line when guests call it. There needs to be a printed price list for the mini bar in the rooms.
