Lovely beach view and a comfortable stay.
Pros:

Nice location with the beach right on your doorstep. Outside of the old town so you avoid the big crowds which is a nice. The old town also I like a 15 minute walk from the hotel so you’re not too far away from it. Room was as described and nice and clean. Staff were knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for car hire.

Cons:

There could’ve been more sun loungers and parasols. Please implement a rule that you cannot reserve sun beds as we routinely seen empty sun beds which had been “claimed” but were barely used. The breakfast could be vastly improved.

Pros:

Der Sonnenuntergang vom Zimmer mit Terrasse ist wunderschön – deshalb würde ich definitiv ein Zimmer auf dieser Seite des Hotels empfehlen. Die Lage ist insgesamt sehr praktisch: Vom Flughafen ist man in ca. 25 Minuten vor Ort, und die Altstadt ist in etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuss gut erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants, und auch der Hafen ist schnell zu Fuss erreichbar – von dort starten viele Bootsaktivitäten.
Das Frühstück wird von 07:00 bis 11:00 Uhr angeboten. Die Auswahl ist für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel grundsätzlich in Ordnung, allerdings eher durchschnittlich und nicht besonders abwechslungsreich.
Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass die Zimmer täglich gereinigt werden können und die Badetücher regelmässig gewechselt werden. Pool- bzw. Strandtücher können alle vier Tage ausgetauscht werden.
Ich empfehle ausserdem, ein Auto zu mieten, um die Insel Rhodos wirklich umfassend zu erleben. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es mehrere Autovermietungen, sodass man nicht zwingend direkt am Flughafen buchen muss. Die Gegend rund um das Hotel ist jedoch etwas windig – das sollte man bei der Planung berücksichtigen.

Cons:

Verbesserungspotenzial gibt es aus meiner Sicht in einigen Punkten: Das Zimmer sowie die Terrasse waren bei Ankunft nicht sauber, und einige Handtücher hatten Flecken. Die Einrichtung wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und die Matratzen waren nicht besonders bequem. Ein Safe im Zimmer wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert gewesen.
Beim Service an der Rezeption hätte ich mir mehr Unterstützung gewünscht: Auf meine Frage zu Busverbindungen und Haltestellen wurde ich lediglich darauf verwiesen, online zu schauen. Zwar konnte ich die Informationen selbst finden, dennoch wäre eine persönlichere Auskunft hilfreich gewesen. Die Busse fahren von der Neustadt, etwa 15–20 Minuten zu Fuss vom Hotel entfernt, in der Nähe des Hafens.
Der Strand bei Elli Beach ist grundsätzlich schön, allerdings ist es auf der einen Seite recht windig, mit stärkeren Wellen und eher steinigem Untergrund statt Sand.

It’s near the Elli beach, but also in walking distance of the Old town. Parking is free nearby, and there are plenty of places (late June) in case you rent a car. They offer beach towels as well, so we didnt even use our own.

Be careful during check-in. We specifically booked and paid for a sea-view room, but were first assigned a standard room without the view we had paid for. We had to discuss the matter with reception before receiving the correct room. Apart from that, the hotel was very good and the staff were pleasant.
