Perfect place to stay for one night in Canterbury

Had everything I needed but would be nice to have a fridge like the rooms in Ashford but not essential

Would like a healthier menu on offer e.g. salads, fish etc.. Everything was very calorific.

Modern, friendly and clean hotel in ideal location.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, location is great and general cleanliness of the hotel was very good, We liked the fact that there is 24 hour reception, pizzas and drinks with board games this is a nice touch.

Cons:

I didn't like that i paid extra to have a 'queen' sized bed but this clearly wasn't queen sized when queried with the front desk i was told all rooms are like this and that is the size of a UK queen side bed, I absolutely do not agree with what he advised as we have a UK king sized bed at home and a UK queen bed is bigger than this, the bed we had as a small double or normal double at best, so i wasn't happy that i effectively paid more for this and didn't actually get a bigger bed.
