Leider war unser Aufenthalt im Hyperion Hotel Salzburg sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel war nicht sauber und die Zimmer wurden schlecht gereinigt. Zudem war das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Unser Zimmer war überteuert und wirkte ungemütlich. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass ein versprochener später Check-out am nächsten Tag plötzlich verweigert wurde und auch beim Verlängern der Schlüsselkarten gab es keine Entschuldigung für die Umstände. Wir können das Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen.

Siamo stati solo una sera ed il ristorante era chiuso ai clienti per eventi privati (quando si viene da un viaggio lungo e si è stanchi non è quello che si vuole)
La mattina dopo la colozione apriva alle 7 e noi siamo arrivati alle 7.15 perché dovevamo correre in aeroporto. Tutte e due le macchine del caffè erano rotte e quando abbiamo chiesto delle uova ci hanno detto che dovevamo ancora aspettare… alle 8.00 siamo dovuti andare via quindi niente uova e solo un caffè per me.
Se la colazione apre alle 7 deve essere tutto pronto per i clienti e non iniziare a preparare alle 7

The hotel is very modern and comfortable up to a very high standard. The concierge, Dieter, was excepcional in providing local tips and recommendations.
Lage, Service im Restaurant
Die Rezeption war unterbesetzt und teilweise fachlich / sprachlich / inhaltlich überfordert. Im Ergebnis entstanden Unklarheiten zur Zahlung der Übernachtungen bei der Abreise (doppelte Belastung der Kreditkarte trotz Zahlungsbestätigung durch booking.com. Ein höherrangiger Vorgesetzter war trotz mehrfacher Bitte gegenüber dem Personal nicht aufzutreiben. Da wir zu den Salzburgen Festspielen aufbrechen mußten, brauchte es eine Rückkehr ins Hotel nach der Vorstellung zur Klärung. Unser Gepäck konnte vom Concierge dabei nicht zur Aufbewahrung angenommen werden, weil es (mit langer Warteschlange) chaotisch war.
