We stayed very busy. The Natura had good priced food and the treetop trails were amazing.
Pros:

Clean and friendly. The lagoon was very nice to go to after all the day fun. Free tickets to water park and zoo were worth it all.

The staff was nice and the location was good.

I didn’t like the thin towels and I didn’t like that the inside/outside pool/jacuzzi closed at 1030pm.

The property cancelled my reservation so that they could charge me a higher price.

I thought I had found a very good price. (See What Didn't You Like, below, for more details.)

Cons:

When I checked in, the hotel had cancelled my reservation. The front desk said that the rate offered and confirmed on BOOKING.COM was a mistake and the hotel would not honor that confirmed price. They then charged me a much higher price. Whether it was a bait-and-switch tactic, or just a mistake as they said, the hotel should have honored my reservation. BOOKING.COM should investigate this property for possible fraud.

Nice location but everything is old
Pros:

Nice location with a small beach in front. The swimming pools seemed to be popular but we did not use them. Bedsheets were clean. You get an designated parking spot which is good if you have a car.

Cons:

Everything is old and the lamps and furniture have different stains on it. There is no cleaning in the rooms during the day.

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue completamente inaceptable.

Apenas tres horas después de hacer el check-in y dejar mis pertenencias en la habitación asignada, el hotel retiró todas mis cosas por error y reasignó la habitación a otro huésped. Cuando regresé, mi llave todavía abría la puerta, pero para mi sorpresa encontré a otra persona ocupando la habitación y todas mis pertenencias habían desaparecido. Por un momento pensé que mis objetos personales se habían perdido o habían sido robados.

Al acudir a recepción, me informaron que habían retirado mis pertenencias por equivocación. Sin embargo, me devolvieron mis cosas de forma desorganizada, sin ningún tipo de inventario o protección. Resolver esta situación me tomó cerca de dos horas y me causó un estrés completamente innecesario.

Lo más preocupante es que no había ningún gerente ni supervisor presente en el hotel cuando ocurrió el incidente. El personal tuvo que contactar a un supervisor de otro establecimiento de la misma cadena, cuya solución fue ofrecerme una compensación de $45.

Mi inconformidad no se debe a la cantidad ofrecida, sino a lo que representó esa respuesta. No se trataba de dinero; se trataba de una grave falla de seguridad y de gestión. Encontrar mi habitación asignada a otra persona, descubrir que mis pertenencias habían sido retiradas sin autorización y perder tiempo resolviendo un problema creado por el propio hotel merecía una respuesta mucho más seria y profesional.

Este incidente refleja una preocupante falta de control interno y atención al huésped. Lamentablemente, fue una experiencia que afectó por completo mi estadía y que no esperaría encontrar en un hotel de esta categoría.
