The shower was outstanding!
Nothing not to like ... if someone asked, I would recommend a footstool for the chair in the room.
Outstanding service, great quality, great value. If we're ever in the area, we would 100% return. We highly recommend the Archer to anybody.
Thank you.
Really outstanding boutique hotel. We were very happy. The rooms were incredible, and the hotel is beautiful.
The only slight downside is there is limited parking, so everything has to be valeted, but the valet staff are truly outstanding, so that was never a problem.
Highly recommend for an upscale boutique experience!
Eventually, she gave me a room key, but the entire interaction felt like the issue was not hotel policy — it felt like she was either unable or unwilling to provide the level of service that Archer Hotel is known for, especially at the Georgetown location.

If you are coming from out of town to visit DC, this is the place. For one, the metro that takes you directly non stop to downtown is directly next door. Two, the place is brand new and super clean! Third - My experience = The staff was incredible. Youssef, the valet came running after us asking if we had dropped a 50 dollar bill. We had not, but the integrity there was commendable. Also, it was our anniversary and we arrived to our room with a glowing sign, balloons, a box of chocolate, and a very nice bottle of champagne. All complimentary. I have traveled a lot, and nowhere did I feel more welcome!.
Location
Rooms lights are dim and gloomy.
Breakfast was limited options
No bellman to help with luggage
Bathroom is so small
I was in the handicapped room as an “upgrade” it was bigger but not nicer. The bathtub was small and not very nice.
From the prime location, to the overall comfortable yet chic atmosphere Archer never disappoints. Whether it is the Valet Staff, Front Desk Staff, Reservations Staff, Resteraunt Staff or any Staff at Archer, you for sure are in for a 5 star experience. The rooms were quiet, clean and well appointed. I never even knew anyone else was even staying in the hotel it was so quiet. Hands down Archer always is the best of the best!
I stayed here for 1 night while on business in the area. The Archer is a newer, trendy property near Tysons Corner with a relative short hop to Dulles Airport. I arrived late afternoon and check in was very quick. The room was very well appointed with modern amenities. I really enjoyed the bar area although they could make some stronger pours. There's a fantastic Japanese/Asian restaurant across the street.
Everything
Nothing
I called multiple times to ask about early check in, because we were in the wedding block and hoping for a little extra time to get ready before the shuttle left for the venue. Not only were we not accommodated, the room was ready late (30 mins after the check-in time) which created stress and significantly diminished our experience. They also said they’d call us when the room was ready, but failed to do so.
For a hotel that claims guest experience is at the center of everything, this wasn’t it. It was a huge bummer because otherwise it would have been a nice stay. If you don’t have specific needs, this would probably be a fine hotel, otherwise you should skip.
