Cons:

The extra bed was way overpriced. I don’t mind to pay for an extra bed, but this was only the bottom part of a box spring. We patched it by adding the cushions of the couch. Next day we asked to address it and they added an extra blanket, that did not much….

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern im Ocean Bay Resort und hatten unsere Bungalows direkt am Strand. Fantastisch! Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und fügt sich geschmeidig in die Umgebung ein. Obwohl gewisse Bereiche / Elemente etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind hatten wir unvergessliche Tage dort. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Abendessen auf dem Pier einfach bezaubernd. Hue und Ihr ganzes Team lesen jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Immer so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt

Beautiful; beach meets jungle
Pros:

The bed was large and very comfortable, the towels and linen were cotton and the presentation of the whole place very nice. I swam at the beach most days. Phuc and Thuy were so friendly, helpful and efficient. I dined at the restaurant over the water both nights and it was very lovely.

Cons:

The lifeguard is too eager to ban swimming at the beach. Some vegetables in my soup at dinner had the tang of being overripe which was disappointing, thankfully I did not experience any digestive problems.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is fantastic, and everything was very well organized. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help.

A special thank you to Alex and Kaylie, who went above and beyond when we encountered a small issue during our stay. They handled the situation with great professionalism, kindness, and understanding, making sure everything was resolved quickly. Their outstanding customer service made a real difference to our experience.

Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. 10/10 – we would definitely come back!

Рай на земле, бунгало в джунглях среди диких животных, из которых, правда, я видела только ящерку и пару комаров. Прекрасное и атмосферное место, рекомендую!

Cons:

Море штормовое все 5 дней отдыха, к сожалению. Связано ли это с сезоном или оно всегда такое, не знаю .

Awesome, restful, cultural, picturesque experience!
Pros:

I had such a lovely, restful time. I had an amazing lovely experience due to all the staff and their thoughtfulness. Kyle was so kind helping with trips. I had a great driver and I customised the exact trips I wanted through Kyle. He was very attentive and helpful. The other staff and a lady at breakfast was so nice asking if I wanted extra fruit for my travels back to the airport. It’s a beautiful place. I would like to come back another time maybe as a couple experience as it seems romantic and picturesque. The breakfast is very good, I think the restaurant food isn’t as good. Overall, a lovely interesting restful experience. Thank you so much to your Team!

La saleté générale des parties communes, débris cachés derrières les bungalow, mégot de cigarettes autour de la piscine qui reste au sol plusieurs jours, pas de robot dans la piscine la nuit pour la nettoyer,
les chambres sont peu voir pas nettoyée du tout Nous avons demandé un nettoyage de la chambre à la vue de l’état de saleté du matelas à notre arrivée et la seule chose qu’ils ont fait c’est retourner le matelas…

Pros:

This hotel is the biggest scam in Vietnam.

Although it’s set in the middle of nature and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the accommodations, gardens, and everything around the property are poorly maintained. The beach is dirty, the sun lounger cushions are disgustingly filthy, and the beach towels are old, worn out, and stained.

We stayed in an ocean-view room that smelled strongly of urine. The bath towels were of very poor quality, which is surprising considering the hotel is so close to China—they could easily afford to buy decent towels for the entire resort. The slippers provided in the room were reusable rubber slippers, and they were dirty. The room also had a shared living room/kitchen area connected to the neighboring room, which was extremely dirty and honestly quite creepy.

The entire hotel feels abandoned and run-down. I genuinely don’t understand how it has such a high rating on Booking.com. The rating completely misled me, and unfortunately I didn’t spend enough time reading the reviews in detail.

Breakfast was another huge disappointment. Unless you’re from this part of the world, there’s very little to eat. On top of that, most of the food sits out in suffocating heat, which creates a significant risk of food spoilage and getting sick.

Despite all these issues, the prices are outrageously high. A pepperoni pizza costs around $15, a cocktail is $10, and seafood and most other dishes are priced as if you were dining in Monaco. The hotel is in a very isolated location, so you’re completely dependent on their restaurant—and they clearly take full advantage of that.

We also spent one night in the pool villa. The way it’s presented on Booking.com is very different from reality. Once again, it smelled of urine. My only guess is that someone must have urinated on the wooden structure at some point, because otherwise I can’t explain the smell.
