Location
My room. It had to be changed twice. The 1st room floor was wet aga sticky. They changed my room and that room air conditioner didn't work neither did the power plugs.
The location was excellent, but the staff was nonexistent, although they were no issues
Although the bed was comfortable, they were no bedbugs. The room was fairly decent and clean, but the pillows were terrible. I left with a neck ache.
The location is excellent
The pillows were terrible
Choice of restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed.
Not near any subway and room was too small
Free parking was nice
Even though they say this is a non-smoking hotel we walked into our room and it smelled like a 90’s poker room. There was even an ashtray on the table of the “non-smoking” room. Cigarette burns in the blanket and the carpeted floor. Sadly we didn’t realize that this hotel is also an hourly rate hotel so take that into account…
Location – Great location close to several subway lines; about a 12-minute walk or a 20-minute stroll to the Brooklyn Bridge. At first glance, the area might look a bit gritty/dirty, but we didn't feel unsafe at all, even late at night or in the nearby parks. We didn't experience any incidents.
Staff – Very friendly guy at the front desk.
Cleanliness – Clean and comfortable bed, tidy bathroom with basic toiletries, and fresh-smelling towels.
Value – You get what you pay for.
The first thing that caught my eye when I opened the window was a used syringe right underneath it.
The room was clean, but you definitely couldn't perform organ transplants in there. There was a lot of old dust in some spots, and I found what looked like a used tissue under the bed.
The room was quite noisy. Luckily, our room wasn't facing the street, but we were right on the first floor and could hear noise from the reception, which was sometimes quite loud even at night. The elevator kept beeping, and other guests were using the microwave in the hallway. If you are sensitive to noise, you should consider earplugs.
We found out upon arrival that the hotel also functions as an "hourly hotel." However, we didn't run into any "shady characters." We stayed during the week, so I’m not sure what it’s like on the weekends.
Maybe the location
The room was horrible quality, blankets with hole, burn.
I loved the price and the room was clean and comfortable. Also there was free parking right across the street. The staff was pleasant. Easy to get to the subway or take public transportation. It was also close (walking distance) to our conference venue.
The people in the adjacent room were smoking weed and the smell lingered into our room. The hotel was listed as non smoking. I had my 10 yr old grandson with me, so I was not happy at all about it. The hotel offered to move us to a different room in the basement, but we chose to stay in our room since it was only an overnight stay.
Everything
It was clean, the guy that took care of us was nice
The blanket on the bed was old and torn there was a leak coming from the ceiling in the hallway if the place is done over it will be a nice place also it was very loud people in the hallway talking loud banging the door
