SUPERB & COMFORTABLE STAY !

RECPTION DESK STAFF WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE AND UNDERSTOOD CORE NEEDS OF THE TRAVELLER .
BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN , WALKING DISTANCE TO DOWNTOWN FROM THIS PROPERTY.WEWOULD LIKE TO BOOK THE SAME PLACE EVERYTIME WE VISIT CHRISTCHURCH.

2nd stay there n would recommend to friends.
Pros:

Rooms are lovely and clean n beds are big n comfy. Staff were very helpful too.

Cons:

Some other visitors were very noisy at night in t hallway but that’s nothing to do with t staff.

Lacking.. Won't stay there again. They take no notice of your online request. Location wwas ok for

The location was perfect for us. Having a wee cafe downstairs was good.

Cons:

Water was so highly chlorinated we couldn't drink it. Boiling it made no difference so we couldn't enjoy a cup of tea. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. No steam extraction fan in bathroom. Had askwd for quiet room away from lift/elevator when we booked online - they gave us a room next to the noise of the lift!! We asked for another room and they sorted it for us.

The 1 bedroom suite was a clean unit.

Cons:

The 1 bedroom suite was not furnished for people who want to stay 5 days and who wear clothes. The unit boasts a washing machine and dryer and full kitchen. There are no drawers for clothes whatsoever. We had a very small wardrobe with 4 coathangers. There was no clothes dryer for woollens. The dining table was a recycled computer bench place under the tv with 1 chair for 2 people. There was no sponge or scourer to clean pots and pans. There we no paper towels for the kitchen. Clearly the management did not want people to "use" the room. The receptionist took our enquiries but never got back to us.

Pros:

Location is walking distance from central CHC but there are some hotels that would be better location wise. The parking facilities were great and easy to access.
