Perfect location if attending an event at the Lower Hutt Events Centre and short walk to the shops
Pros:

Decor was very classy and updated. Every little detail was provided. Clean and super comfortable. Loved the velvet furnishings and colour's.

Cons:

Scheduling of cleaning the carpets in the hallway to be on a monday instead of at the beginning of the busy weekend? (Unless there was a spill?) Whole area was wet and humid. Better management of the front drop off area where drivers were parking and leaving the car and blocking access for pick ups and drop offs. Booked a suite for a river view but 1st floor looks striaght on to the back of a building with slight view of the river around the corner!

Comfortable and good value for money.
Pros:

Great stay here. Lovely staff, very clean and great value for money.

Cons:

The breakfast that came with our stay was good, but all the “hot food” was stone cold which was disappointing.

Pros:

Friendly front desk staff and it’s kept clean

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing, it was more continental type breakfast. Also BEWARE of the Grazie Restaurant downstairs, we were surprised at checkout as they tried to charge us a $49 service charge ontop of our meal cost which we refused to pay this hidden cost, they stated that the “service charge is a mandatory component of our pricing structure and is applied consistently to all applicable bills. This charge contributes towards maintaining our service standards, supporting staffing costs, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for all guests” ridiculous, these hidden cost just ruins the experience.

We came for Hip Hop Unite at the Lower Hutt events centre.
Pros:

It was close to the Lower Hutt events centre. It was clean and modern. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast facilities were great.

Cons:

Some of the parking spaces were tricky to fit into.
