Ok. I like the room decor and the location. Probably if our room was better and not part of the weird ‘family’ set up I
Pros:

It was close to where we needed to be in Lower Hutt

Cons:

Very noisy people next door- we were in a room that had a shared main door so every time the people in the other room went in and out the door banged loudly.
The breakfast in the cafe adjoining the hotel was terrible. Hard for a buffet to be so bad.
There is no tap and pay- need a card to swipe which is annoying as I always use my phone to pay.
Just lots of little things that become annoying for what you would expect to be more of a premium hotel

It was enjoyable and convenient. Restaurant at night had great food.
Pros:

Easy access, lovely staff. Cleaning tidy. At dinner time the food was lovely

Cons:

Only give you one access key. The young lady serving us at breakfast carried my coffee over holding the top of the cup in one hand and an empty saucer in the other. I prefer people didn't have their fingers on the part of the cup where I'm going to put my mouth.

Pros:

Great location for visiting the Lower Hutt area, staff were lovely and the bed was comfy. There’s a laundry facility for guests to use which makes things so easy for longer stays. Chromecast in the TVs was great for lounging around and watching films in the evening.

Cons:

I got breakfast and probably shouldn’t have. It was both basic and really average quality/standards of preparation. Worth noting though that there was a whole gluten free cereal section on a different table which I’m sure is great for coeliac folks. There was only dairy milk out for the coffee and cereals but the staff were so lovely about giving me oat milk everyday.

Given the location, some may find it a little noisy on the weekends with obnoxious cars.
