You get what you pay
Pros:

The property is in a great downtown location with everything nearby, including Mercado San Juan and Mercado Corona. It was very convenient to have so many places within walking distance. The only drawback was the noise from ongoing construction and repair work in the area, but overall the location made up for it.

Cons:

The lobby was very small and had no air conditioning, so it felt hot. The hallways were also warm for the same reason. In the room, the bathroom had no ventilation, causing odors to linger.

The shower did not drain properly and would flood, with water spilling into the bathroom. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and we had to request room cleaning after several days. Even then, the floors did not seem to be mopped properly.

Overall, the location was great, but the lack of maintenance and cleanliness was disappointing.

I really liked that it was located in downtown Guadalajara. Everything was close by, which made it very convenient. The location was great, and overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Cons:

What I didn’t like was that the hallway leading to the room was extremely hot. There was no air conditioning in the hallway or the very small lobby, so as soon as you entered the building, it felt uncomfortably warm. The lack of air conditioning in those common areas made it unpleasant to walk to and from the room.
