The hotel was very centrally located, yet surprisingly quiet with no street noise at all. The room was tidy and spotless, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We loved our stay at River Ness. Wonderful location within walking distance of everything and amazing, kind, helpful staff on duty. The room was clean, quiet, and had every comfort we needed. The bathroom was a great size. Only suggestion would be to skip the breakfast in favor of a local coffee shop.
Our cars battery was very low. After Google maps had assisted us to navigate there @ about 6.30pm on a weekday we saw a barrier arm down. After we had dithered over what to do next, the Mgr came out, lifted the arm, assisted us to park correctly, got the charger working using his OWN credit card! We had a very nice snack while we waited for the charging, which cost a lot.
We attempted to reimburse him for the charging but the receptionist said it was on the house!! It cost about 2/3 of the food price!
If we ever return to Inverness in an EV, we will probably make a point of recharging at this hotel.
Aleays a pleasure
The best hotel to stay in Inverness
Lovely staff amazing rooms
Problème avec la douche qui était brûlante (au moins ce n’etait pas la douche écossaise)
This hotel is located in the heart of Inverness. I stayed in the standard room with a king bed. The room was a nice size, clean, with a large bathroom with lots of counter space. My room was located on the front of the hotel and I did experience noise in the wee early hours from a nearby bar. The breakfast buffet was good with both cold and hot dishes. The front desk was helpful.
Modern rooms
Location, had to park in multi story and walk with cases to get to the hotel
Modern, clean, great location, wonderful staff
My room was too small.
This hotel is fantastic. The room is beautiful and the bathroom is amazing. The location is brilliant. Shops, tourist attractions, the railway station are only minutes away from the hotel. The restaurant is also really good too. But the big stand out is the staff. They are kind, helpful, considerate and really go to great lengths to make your stay a good one. They certainly did that for me.
The price.
Clean, quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the train station.
