Very enjoyable and just a short walk up the city centre.
Pros:

Comfortable room with hot drink facilities and good shower room and toiletries.

All the building work around it especially the site right next door.

Particularly good breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

It took my ages to find the wardrobe and hairdryer. Turns out it was behind same sliding door as bathroom. A sign would help.

I couldn't fault it in any way. I highly recommend it. Staff and facilities brilliant

Nice bright hotel. Great location. Good breakfast

Cons:

I would have preferred to have a choice of regular filter coffee. Machine coffee was too strong.

Lovely short stay. To be fair I couldn't really fault anything.
Pros:

I couldn't fault the breakfast. Everything I like, personally, was on offer.
The rooms were comfortable and had tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, safe and iron available.

Cons:

I would have liked a choice of eggs at breakfast.

Great location and amazing breakfasts.

Cons:

I cannot open the window in the room. Because of that the air is always a bit humid and not fresh. There is an air conditioner in the room but it doesn’t make the air fresher

Pros:

Location of hotel is ideal for visiting York city centre. Rooms and amenities are considerably new and well-maintained, thoroughly clean and very quiet zone. Family rooms are spacious and well-thought for travelling with children.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet has not got the variety that you could expect on a Hilton hotel. For example, no fruit was available apart from apples.
