Nice hotel, but not what we expected
Pros:

Comfortable room, nice gym, good location.

Cons:

We picked this hotel specifically because it lists “parking garage”. Upon arrival the staff told us there is no garage, and we should go to a nearby public parking. That parking was full and had no security, and since the staff didn’t have any other suggestions we had to drive around York city center for 30 min finding a parking which turned out to be 30 pounds for the night.

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the main attractions including the Shambles, city walls, and minster. It is also conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and the town centre. The communal areas were clean and modern, and the room itself was a good size with a safe, kettle, mini fridge, and clean bathroom facilities.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of options and plenty of seating available if you avoid the rush.

Cons:

Booked the room for three people and the sofa bed was very disappointing. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt more like a basic camper bed rather than a proper sofa bed suitable for a hotel stay. The main bed was also quite low to the floor and not very comfortable either.

Excellent Hotel, ideally located for a York visit.
Pros:

Staff were welcoming, room was very clean and comfortable , breakfast was hot and a large selection. All in all, very pleased with this hotel.

Comfortable stay for the price
Pros:

Liked the room, amenities and location. The room was comfortable and had enough space. Sofa bed was a good addition to the room. Location is perfect to explore the city.

Cons:

Food was average. There weren't enough vegetarian options. They could have included some mushrooms or vegan sausages to the menu. As it's complimentary breakfast it was decent.

Lovely hotel clean , wished I would of stayed longer
Pros:

Location was great near to everything within walking distance. Breakfast excellent good selection to suit everyone. Liked how open the seating area is not all sat among each other comfortably.

Cons:

My only issue was for a short person the sink in the bathroom was a little high so had to tiptoe to reach over to have a wash , and pillows was uncomfortable for me .

Great stay in a great area. Full English was great
Pros:

We came two hours early before checkout and there was no problem whatsoever. Really friendly helpful staff

Cons:

The waffle machine wasn’t working but the staff were really helpful. Didn’t need to ask for help they were so attentive and aware that they noticed, apologised and tried to sort the problem

Fantastic location
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the towels fluffy.
We had a queen bed each rather than singles.

Cons:

The rug in the room needed a good shampoo and the room was a little dusty. There was a hole in my duvet cover along the seam
