The staffs were friendly but not knowing how on July 3rd nite to turn on a TV program is awful. Check the gentleman @ 7

Desperately needs a car park!!!
Pros:

The room was ok and comfy

Cons:

The parking is ridiculous! Its a 10 minute walk away and costs yearly 30 a day. My recommendation is stay at a place with parking a little further out of town and use the money you save to pay for a bus into town

Lovely clean hotel in centre of York.
Pros:

Lovely room. Comfortable bed and very quiet. Ideal location.

Cons:

The air conditioning was set at 19 degrees which meant the room was very hot. It would be better if we could set our own temperature.

Not great value for money
Pros:

The location, the room was spatious

Cons:

It is not very clean, the breakfast doesnt have any healthy options (no raw vegatables or fruits) and in general is not good; the fire alarm went on three times during may stay so we had to evacuate

Apart from breakfast the hotel was great.
Pros:

Breakfast; For a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed in breakfast. 4 star hotels provide tomato juice, black pudding, mushrooms. There was only scrambled eggs on display when I asked for fried eggs I was astonished by the answer. We do not do fried eggs or boiled or poached.
This is cutting back to far.

Great value, great location and nearby construction sites were of no issue during my stay
Pros:

Breakfast was a reasonable selection for the budget. Quality excellent. Nice dining area.

Cons:

No fried eggs at breakfast and the bathroom basin 'plug' couldn't stop the water draining out! Minor point only!
