Great hotel, would stay here again next time we visit York.
Pros:

Close to centre of York. Modern, well kept hotel, lovely rooms and great breakfast. Staff were very welcoming. Booked a king room, comfortable bed, large TV, fridge, good sized rainfall shower in bathroom. Perfect!

Cons:

No complaints, excellent stay.

Ok location, clean rooms, but as the price is same as other hotels wouldn’t stay again

Cons:

Breakfast. It was a bit chaotic and no staff to organise seating. Food was also quite cold and didn’t taste fresh.

Easy check in process, friendly staff, location is perfect.
Pros:

Great location, very central. Lots of amenities nearby and great selection of local cafes and restaraunts near the hotel. Breakfast was included but we opted to eat outside so can't comment on the hotel breakfast quality. The room was very clean and comfortable, would recommend to stay here.

Really enjoyable stay apart from the breakfasts and we will be visiting again but probably wont be staying at the Hampto

Perfect location for city centre and lots to do and see and many great places to eat

Cons:

We were really looking forward to the breakfasts from previous reviews but echoing some recent reviews the breakfast turned out not to be that great! There wasnt a massive selection of anything really, fresh fruit clearly hasnt made its way to York and the cooked breakfast was cold by the time we had taken it from the buffet to the table (id change ur heating lamps coz theyre rubbish)! We went to the whethy up the road after the second day! Much better and hotter!

Excellent location, comfortable and clean.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and everything kept clean and well-stocked even at busy times. Room very comfortable with all we needed. Excellent location for all attractions.
